HALP

I have MANY things to talk about and discuss, including interview! Date night! All excellent things!

But I also need your help, and I'm hoping SOMEBODY can help me out. This is a RIDICULOUS first-world problem, I realize, but I've been having a really hard time with this, and I CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT. GODDAMMIT. I DON'T LIKE NOT BEING ABLE TO FIGURE THINGS OUT. I've also googled a bunch, and have come up with...not much helpful info at ALL.

So, trying to connect a computer to the HDTV. I have basically given up on my Dell, because - well, it's been having issues. Today, we got the Belkin mini-port to HDMI Mac adapter, and already had an HDMI cable, right? Seems to be right: plug in the adapter, connect the HDMI cable to the adapter and the TV. Turn to HDMI 3 on the TV's input. Expect results.

BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. At all. It just keeps saying "No Video Signal" which. ;________; WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. ;__________;

I am starting to think it might be the TV, which would kind of SUCK, but I guess if it is, we'll just give up on this crazy dream and go about our lives. BUT I WANT TO FIGURE THIS OUT. Do we need to PROGRAM something? We tried turning everything off, connecting again - nothing. Doing Command+F2. Nothing. IDK IDK. I AM ANNOYED.

So. If ANYBODY has any ideas, that would be awesome. I mean. If not, it's fine. BUT IF YOU DO, I WANT TO HEAR YOUR IDEAS. You are all much smarter about this shit than I am. At least some of you. Help a girl out. /o\

I know. It's pathetic that I'm pissed off about this. BUT WHY WON'T IT WORK, GODDAMMIT. >:(

JUST AS I HAD SUSPECTED: the internet is a magical place filled with people MUCH more knowledgeable than myself! SOLVED! TY TY! :D
