oh, and can we talk about Project Runway?
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!
You guys. If a show makes you mad at TIM GUNN, then there is SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG.
TLo did a brilliant write-up here, which basically summed up my feelings on the matter.
But allow me to ELABORATE.
What a bunch of HORSESHIT. That wasn't DRAMA, that was flat-out MANIPULATION OF THESE PEOPLE. And Heidi's "it's my challenge! Surprise! I get to do this shit!" is RIDICULOUS. They have seriously strayed away from the CLOTHES-MAKING and the formula that really, really worked for SEVERAL SEASONS to the point where...IDK. They better come back from this, because MAN, that pissed me off.
WHAT THE FUCK, JUDGES?! Rewarding unprofessional bullying behavior? REALLY?
STUF, BERT. Although I wonder, since there is SUCH a disconnect between Bert's stories and everyone else's, if we aren't being SHOWN something, otherwise, bitch be crazy. IDK. This is just...weird.
Josh M. is the biggest asshole on the PLANET. Poor Becky. She so didn't deserve ANY of that, INCLUDING the judges judging HER. Are you motherfucking kidding me?
I do wonder what Tim was talking about when he said he was proud of them, being so honest on the runway. I just can't believe that TIM GUNN, of all people, would reward assholish bullying behavior like Josh M's, so I choose to believe he was talking mostly to Becky and Anthony Ryan, and it was edited to make it seem otherwise.
Blergh.
And I really liked Anya, but man, I got pissed at her last night. She totally played both her team mates, and she IS cunning. She didn't actually sympathize with Becky, and she was RIGHT THERE when Josh was excluding Becky from all but the sewing portion of the challenge.
UGH, WHATEVER. >:( >:( >:(
I was, however, happy to see Danielle go, since she's been making the exact same outfit for WEEKS now, in the...same exact colors. Seriously, girl? No. That's not cool. (Plus, she just generally annoyed me, IDK.)
I wish they'd brought Julie back, instead, but OH WELL.
TALK TO ME, PEOPLE. THIS WAS ABSURD.
