This is the internet, stalking is almost normal behaviour here. I mean, I think the entire point of Tumblr is basically stalking, you follow people and get to know them without ever talking to them...

IMing is always a bit hard for me, mostly because I don't really know what to say. |D In a chat you can just sort of say what you're doing right now and have spontaneous outbursts over what you SHOULD be doing instead of chatting, but with messages it has to be more substantial, have an actual point. I do fic bouncing rather well via mail but that's about it (also when talking about fic I can... Shroud myself in a guise of seriousness or something).
