We met just two years ago. You struck me as incredibly smart, but young -- a little fragile, shaky in your conception of yourself.

These days, one of the first words that comes to mind when I think of you is "wise". Along with "great-hearted" and "formidable". Your honesty, emotional acumen and self-awareness are pretty extraordinary, and I've watched you use those traits to push yourself through challenges and come out stronger and savvier. I've seen you help others (including me) in the same way.

You remind me of my roommate, a bit. You're going to be phenomenal at your job.

And then there's the part where you crack me up like nobody's business, and have beautiful geeky thoughts about things I like to geek about.
