On my hair.
I have dyed my hair. It is now black. Jet black. All black. My face looks translucent, but I do like it. I love it, actually. It's darkest it's ever been, since my hair is medium-brown, and when I dyed it before, it was always reddish-auburn. And now it's black. Only after the fact did it hit me that it may seem like it was done for Halloween, but too late. Ah, well. I'll pretend it's in the honor of Jadis's birthday. Heh.
So, funny story. I was sitting in the computer room earlier tonight, writing to my parents. Then, I went out and called Theresa from the downstairs phone, so she could come over and we could dye our hair (she dyed hers red). She said to wait for her where I was, and she'd be there in two minutes. So, I was sitting on the couch downstairs in my dorm, wearing my black work-out pants and sweatshirt, and out from the corridor came two people. One of them was Glow Boy. They were talking and laughing at something, and then saw me, and sort of stopped, smiled this weird smile, like 'well, this is awkward', while I just looked on, highly amused. They left, and I kept sitting there, wondering how the world works - he didn't see me earlier today, when I was wearing a skirt and actually looking good, but instead when I was sitting in my work-out clothes, looking like I was completely out of it.
*sigh*
Ah, well, at least he was smiling. The last time I actually saw that boy smile was at the party.

Oh, Jesus. Oh my God. I don't know why this hit so hard, but it did. And the production? 'Nord Ost'? It's based on 'Two Captains', one of my favorite books from childhood, as well as one of my favorite movies that was based on it. Somehow, that is the saddest part. God, I hope they all get out all right. Whatever the Russian government is doing, those people did not deserve that. And I realize that this happens every day in so many places, but this...this is like a continuous rape of my childhood. That country is going to hell. And there's nothing I can do about it.
