Well, now. I am back. YES.

There were doubts, but I am all in one piece. Apart from the slight breakdown as I finally got home and went to pieces from a bug/food poisoning/who the hell knows what else, I am feeling better now and in less than an hour, I am OFF to the SUMMIT. YES!

I have missed you all terribly, and hope to catch up with everyone and on everything soon.

I will try to talk about my trip soon,too, but am not completely sure when I'll be able to... Fingers crossed, though!

In short, Italy is just as I expected it to be. And more. And Venice is absolutely gorgeous. And I have seen Juliet's balcony and now am wondering how the hell Romeo managed to get up there. He'd have to have been a mountain climber. Oh, and pictures will be posted eventually...when next I can get near a scanner...

Anyway, WOW.

Thought about you, percy_weatherby, a lot, since it's, you know, your country, and all... And have, incidentally, also missed you. :)

And, by the way, soupytwist, what exactly do you mean by you *think* you met the lovely Stephen? TALK, woman!!

I'm sorry about the bugness, but am sooooo glad to see you. I've missed you! I'm glad you're all right and Italy was wonderful and the Summit will be great. :)

And I think I walked past him while in Cambridge - he was on his mobile phone and all bundled up in a big coat, so I can't be certain, but I think it was. Only I was *dragged away* before I could run after him to 1. see if it was really him and 2. jump him. Dammit.
