Ok, so...
I was going to write all about different things, such as, oh, I don't know, Italy, and the Summit, and all that, but I'm just not in the mood. The summit was wonderful, and all that, and I don't remember the last time I laughed so much (if you haven't seen the Sugarquill thread yet, you really should - and what should have been added was the fact that we were not completely sober. But, in fact, none of it was exaggerated. Firelocks really did get thrown off the bed - but she only got a slight scratch. ;) AND it was reenacted again for those who had missed it, in slow motion.)
But eversince I got back to the States, I have been depressed. I'm not sure why. I really wanted to come home, funny as it may sound, but everything here reminds me of bad things. It's horrible. That, and I don't even have a book I can read, because I just don't feel like reading Sam's stuff. I know that sounds odd - that the lack of a book can affect me - but obviously that's just a part of it.
I hate it here. And only very slightly is it the place's fault.
I really missed a few people while I was computer-less, and hope to hear from them soon.
I really really missed you, and really wish we could talk... Baah...
Oh, but one cool thing happened while I was away - Roche put up her story on the Quill! Yay!
It should have made the Bookshelf...
And isn't it amazing, people? Oh, yes, it is.
Other than that... Sam is in the middle of finals, I'm skulking around with nothing to do and my head in a muddle, but hopefully, it'll get better. I will have to work hard at making it better, because ultimately, I am the only one that CAN do that.
This entry is non-sensical, and probably will be promptly skipped over, but I had to get it off my chest.
In any case, I will try to be online more, but it's tricky right now. I missed this place. Sad, huh?
But the Summit really was amazing. I had so much fun. And got to talk to
zsenya! We howled! AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! She sounds just as wonderful on the phone as online. It was awesome.
You know who else was awesome? I'll give you three guesses. Babe, I'm glad we had that time before our trains left just to talk - it was wonderful. We'll get to talk more, after I come back. You're just as fantastic in person as you are online, and I'm very very happy to have finally met my Prince. Mwah!
And now I have to go and email my new betas to tell them that I came back from vacation... And then I have to beta. By the way,
zsenya, I know your games. Don't think I haven't noticed the fact that almost all my new beta-needing people are either nicknamed "moon" something or other, or their stories feature Remus. ;) I am onto you, woman. Heh.
Love to all.
