See, I had the idea for the basket and Marjorie and Paula right away, and it got complicated, later on, because while it's a farcical set-up, it's a pretty tough situation to find yourself in (esp. if you're Ray Kowalski), so I'm glad that the balance...worked. And you're exactly right - among other things, he WAS worried about the job prospects, seeing as how it's his ticket in.
