John: Can Ronon stay, can he, can he, can he?
Elizabeth: I don't know, isn't he a little old for you?
John: No, no, really, he isn't! And he's really cool! And he's really smart! And he kicks ass!
Elizabeth: I'll have to think about it, honey.
John: But, but! He could be my bestest-bestest friend! And then we could totally blow each other in hidden alcoves all over the city, and he could take my orders, and obey me, and please, please, pleeeease, can my new potential boyfriend stay with us, pleeeeeeease?
Elizabeth: *indulgent sigh* Oh, all right. I'll see what I can do. *pets*
John: YAY! *beams*
