On Coincedinks.
From an interview with Jamie O'Neill:
"The turning point came when O'Neill was sitting in a London pub with Paddy, the dog he had shared with [the deceased Russell] Harty. "Suddenly Paddy shot out of the pub. And when I found him outside he was being stroked by this French angel." His name was Julien. He was a dancer. "We've been together ever since, 10 years last March."
The dog's name. Look at the dog's name.
Incidentally, "At Swim" was dedicated "a Julien, mon ami, mon amour".
I heart this man. I've been reading interview upon interview, and he just seems so wonderful.
mombi_of_oz was right - he is the best thing ever. ;)

EDITED TO ADD: (Which I just spelled as "ass", of course) -
If anyone would be willing to help me edit my style, I'd be very very grateful. I know what I'm looking for, but don't have sufficient knowledge to do it. Help?..
