On Nutella and Other Nuts. Er.

So, I have found my city of worship. I shall make a Mecca there. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] soupytwist for finding it for me. So, what will happen is that I shall go through the south, first to Big Buoge Homo, Mississippi, then Cumming, Georgia and finally get to Gay Head, Massachusetts. I promise to send postcards. I'd also love to take a journey to Fuxing, China, but it's a bit out of my reach at the moment.

So, got the essay back (the one that I actually managed to do before getting sick) and out of the possible 70-75 got a 68. That's an equivalent of an "A", so am a rather happy camper at the moment. Even though I still think it was a crap essay, but whatever. This is the professor that's convinced that I'm smart no matter what shit comes out of my mouth. Telling you - blind faith. It's rather amusing when it's directed at you.

So, a conversation I had earlier with Katie-poo:

(context: looking at a website that, among other things, lists the types of lube used by gay man)

Me: Butter, huh? I wonder if chocolate spread works...
Katie: Gives a whole new meaning to Nutella.
Me: I love you.

So, tonight IS the night, as it turns out. [livejournal.com profile] firelocks - like I said, dude. I expect a full report on the Brilliant Author Man. Put in a good word, too, while you're at it. ;)

Random thought: it is SO weird to be listening to a Russian band and writing in English at the same time. Definitely takes a bit of adjusting on my part. Mmm, I've missed this CD, though... [livejournal.com profile] zsenya, I don't remember if I asked you this, but have you ever heard "Krematoriy"? They're really fucking good. I actually saw them in NYC a couple of years back, it was awesome. They've been around for a while, since Kino and DDT and all them people.

And I made a Good Dinner today, which is something that hasn't happened in a while. Roasted potatoes and chicken with garlic...mmmm... And I've got left-overs. Life is good.
