If you belong the the Evil Club of Unfinished WiP's, you will be thrashed. You will be bitten. You will be followed to the depths of hell.

And those of you who leave two drunk hot men on a bed with a "to be continued..." and don't update for over a year, will be drawn and quartered.

I only wish that worked.

Don't mind me. I'm just lamenting that fact "The Unknown Want" will probably never be updated, and "Fearsome" is probably dead in the water...

I made the mistake of reading Unknown Want last night, only to discover that it's an abandoned WIP. Am annoyed. Am also feeling guilty, and am opening Word to work some more on Year One of the Marauder Chronicles. ::sheepish grin::

"The Unknown Want" is one of the most brilliant R/S stories out there and 'annoyed' doesn't even begin to describe what it's like to not have it finished. But I'm guilty, too - although I haven't completely abandoned this one WIP I've been working on, it hasn't been updated since...May? Oops... ::sheepish grin back::

Eeep. Techically I belong to the evil club of unfinished WiPs. However, my muses are more likely to tumble out of the bed and drag me back into their worlds than to let it go for a year. *wry grin*

But on those two stories... gods, I've been occasionally checking in on the latter for ages, hoping there would be more. Or something. And the Unknown Want... waaaaah. That reminds me that I want more of that one too. *sigh*

WiPs are evil. =P

Which makes me think about DDtM, too. If I don't have more beyond that little snippet that was posted on ailei's (I think) journal a while - read: ages and ages and ages to this impatient fan ;) - I think I will go ballistic.

I am also denying for absolutely no reason that I got sucked that deep into a story. =)

You know, considering that we're writing fanfiction... I think it's pretty safe to say that denial won't work. We are so deep in the book that there's no escaping. And that's a good thing. :)

I thought *you* said there would be another chapter to The Unknown Want?!?!?!? I remember I was in despair, you told me they intended to update, and I danced. my sadness is now beyond words. I may have to hunt down the wondrous authors of that story and reenact part of "Misery"... I am so not above it.

JADIS!!!! DUDE!!! You're here!! I just saw this and this made me so happy! Yes, I know I said that, but that was a while ago and nothing has happened. I know that there's a third chapter out there, unfinished, but they haven't posted it. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. I've lost hope, that's all. And I'm tired of bugging them, too. Heh.

And Tom Waits rocks my world.
