Oh... oh...wow...
Oh, wow... Oh...WOW.
You are amazing! This is so... it's just... umm... Wow. Thank you. I haven't got to the last song yet, but just being able to actually hear "A Nation Once Again" is astounding. I can picture the scene so fully now - MacMurrough, rhythmically trying to keep all those boys in line, while talking with Scrotes in his head, and the uneven way in which they played - it's fantastic. And "The Wind That Shakes The Barley"!.. Ohh!.. Do you think Jim and Doyler might have played this? Sitting at the Forty Foot that one night, with Doyler playing his flute, and Jim listening to the waves crashing all around them... I'm practically whimpering. Wow. And, just, yes, everything about the whole thing... and the Pogues... thank you. Thank you What a wonderful, wonderful end-of-essays celebration gift!
And having ANY CD that has the words "Doyler", "Jim" and "MacMurrough" on the jacket makes my little heart sign out with joy, naturally.
(And I like to think MacM succeeded, too. Which is why, of course, he shall always have my heart.)

In other news, I did not get drunk last night, but the plans are to do it tonight, which is fine by me. Because if I had gone out drinking, I would have missed out on nearly pissing myself with laughter in chat with you, you,

You're all fucking hysterical. I think that was more fun than should have been allowed sober. ^_^
And YOU - I made something for you today. ;) Something you asked for... I'll send it in a minute. Hope you like. Oh, hell, I know you will. Hehe.
Plan for today is somehow to obtain food, because I haven't had a chance to go shopping in, um, two weeks. I haven't been eating very well. Oops.
But that shall come after I'm done putting in the references into my essays and finally hand them in, GOOD RIDDANCE.
Thank you all for the support - and the celebrations. Honestly, I don't deserve you people.

There ought to be links to my review pages from there.

And I'm also glad you're revelling in your essay-free state.

It has - music is a large part of the book, and knowing what some of it sounds like helps SO MUCH. Just...wow. And the last two songs? The only reason I didn't cry was because the heartbreak was counteracted by the dryness of writing up essay references. But the last rendition of "A Nation Once Again"... and... thinking of MacMurrough... Guh. Just... SO. FUCKING. SAD. And beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
I am reveling like there is no tomorrow. Hopefully tonight will bring more reveling. Reveling is fun. It's odd, though - now that I have some free time for a day or so, I don't even know what to do with myself. Huh.
And I hope you're feeling better about yesterday. :(
