I'd like to... *runs away*
Actually, no, I didn't run away. I came up to the counter, looked the cute Borders guy in the eye and said:
"Hi, I'd like to reserve the new Harry Potter."
"Ok, just fill this out, and it's a two pound deposit." Adorable Scottish accent, too.
"Actually, I, um, need 16 copies." *cringe* *wince* *die*
"Okay, that will be 32 pounds, then."
Pause.
"All right, um, do you accept credit cards?"
So, I filled out the little form, while the two cute Borders guys talked about HP (something having to do with dressing up as Dumbledore at some party?) while I laghed to myself, and then the first guy said:
"So, you're either buying these for friends, or you really really like Harry Potter."
I told him that yes, I really do like Harry Potter, but I am also getting these for friends. Then I told him that I thought about pretending to work at a school, but decided against it, and told him that most of these people are over 20. Ha. So, the only bad thing is that I had to charge the 32 quid on my emergency credit card. Ick. But at least we were all amused, and he didn't even blink twice when I said "sixteen". Go cute Scottish Borders guy.

So, I was going to do the whole LJ Friends Meme thing, and did it, but it was just too difficult, so I'm not posting it. There WAS one question, though, that I could answer, no problem.
Prettiest (or was it cutest?) couple: Why, Vonnie and Sarah, of course! *pets them*

That is it for now. Tralalalalala...

Here's to hoping he's there when we pick the books up. Though by that point, I'll probably only have one boy on my mind (no prizes for guess who that'll be). ;)

I really have to try that one.
