IDK why! I had PLENTY of rest this weekend - in fact, it was just an amazing weekend all around - but now it is Monday, it's about to rain the wrath of GOD onto us, and I DON'T WANT TO BE AT WORK AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLL.

Instead, I want to PLAY. PLAY WITH ME. :D?

Basically, this is an anonymous - if you want! - thing where you just TELL ME/EACH OTHER THINGS, WHATEVER THEY ARE. THINGS THAT YOU MAY NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING UNDER YOUR NAME, BUT HAVE WANTED TO SHARE. ANYTHING GOES.

(I'm only being anonymous because this is whiny and a little ridiculous.)

I am a realist with a PLAN for getting published. I've put my time in to research, I know how the system works, I am committed to the process. I know how it's going to work and I can make it happen.

But some mornings I just fucking want to be *sparkle*DISCOVERED*sparkle* and have someone say, WOW, YOU'RE WRITING IS AWESOME HERE I WILL HELP GET YOU PUBLISHED.

NOTHING RIDICULOUS ABOUT THIS. This shit is HARD. We're all (mostly) realistic and actually being COMMITTED to something is GOOD. It's GOOD to be realistic and work hard, but of course there are gonna be times when you just fucking want to be DISCOVERED and there is NOTHING wrong with that.

I'm in a similar situation, and seriously, I HEAR YOU. I know I can do it, but there are so many fucking hoops to jump through. It's exhausting to think about, and I just want to, you know, WRITE.
