They're showing "Caesar" on TNT right now - apparently, Chris Noth plays Pompey. I cannot take that man as anybody other than Detective Mike Logan. He's too New York to fit into Rome, I'm sorry. I love him, but Pompey he is not. Although he's got the nose for it... And the guy that plays Caesar? Is played by Elton from "Clueless". Anyone else amused by this? Can't take him seriously, either. I'd like this movie, if half the cast didn't have Brooklyn accents. "All hail Caesar! Hey, you, get outta the way, I'm waaaalking he-ah!" Or something like that, anyway...

I have decided that someone should make a movie out "Fire From Heaven". Mary Renault is wonderful. I would have finished this book in two days if I had had time to actually read, it's so good. Waaaaaah... And it makes me think of Alli, so that's good too.

Oh, and yes. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to see anyone in NY this time around. I have to quickly come back here and actually look for work. That sucks ass, frankly, but it has to be done. I have no money, and I OWE money. Big time.

Hmmm, didn't mean to whine. Oh, well.

And Happy Birthday to my Daddy! He is 55 today. That is a cool age, methinks. (It's also my ex's birthday... funny, huh?)
