Three Good Things:
Today was brightened by
1) Getting a parcel from
dinosaurcostume. Oh, Nick! I'll email you about it separetely, but WOW. Your rock.
2) Getting a postcard of Ireland from
rochefort. I mean, there really is not much more I can say to make it sound even happier. That's Happiness right there.
3) Getting an interview. For a job. Which I'm pretty sure I already have, seeing as how I was asked to come in. Tomorrow. It's a BOOK STORE, people. A bookstore. Me. Working in a bookstore. Again, not much more to say. *crosses fingers and toes and random strands of hair*
And I have decided to seize control of my hair and dye it black. So now it's black. And I am even more happy.
Know what's odd, though? When I go in for that interview tomorrow, from then on, I'll be known as 'the girl with the short hair'. How odd is that? I've never been known as the girl with short hair. I haven't had hair this short since I was 5. Weird, yo.
And now I am off to continue reading my book. Which also spells happiness.

Also, working at a bookshop would give you a whole new audience to initiate into the At Swim love! Dude! It's fate!
*adores and loves and hugs and snuggles cause I miss youuuuu*

And all that back to you, of course, darling! *snuggles her wifey*

Hee! Do you have my Boston address? Cause that would be it. If not, I'll email you. :)
(And, you know...woohoo ;))

hon, a question. Do you know what Doyler says on page 100 of THE BOOK when he speaks Gaelic? He and Jim are at the Forty Foot for the first time and Doyler's says something in Gaelic. Jim asks him about it and Doyler answers that it's just a thing they say in Clare. Any idea?

now, if you get the job in the book store, will you be able to save any money? Or will you just end up taking your salary in merchandise? I have always been afraid to work in a book shop for just that reason. I have no self control.
but I know you will pimp ASTB to countless customers. If JON were to go to Boston next summer there would be 3000 people there telling him that a girl (with short hair) named Liz recommended the book... and he would just smile.
Love and Dimples,
Jo

Oh, I couldn't, either. The surprising thing is, it's still my face. I expected it to mutate somehow, or whatever, because me with short hair is just freaky. As for a picture - Anna took one yesterday, but her computer died, so she can't transfer it there yet. Sometime soon she will, and you'll get to see it. Lucky you. ;)
And I will try, my fucking HARDEST, to save money, because I have the same problem as you. I mean, I might actually blow it all on books, but I can't, so I won't. My intestinal fortitude will be severely tested. Severely. This bookstore...well, it'll be hard to resist. Gah.
And yes, of COURSE I will! Are you kidding? This is almost as a big a chance as pimping it online!
And I would BE there, no questions asked. Hell, I'd probably do all the organizing and advertising for the event. ;) I am such a dork... And I would be there. Wouldn't miss it for the world. But you already knew that.
By the way, I miss you. This missing each other online is simply unexceptable. Argh. You may expect a phonecall tomorrow.
love and dimples and more love!

You will see it! Anna's computer needs to work first, though. Sorry. :-/
I love you, too! I miss you! :(

If you've been sent a rock through the post, I'm really sorry but it's not mine. In fact, if it's just a letter tied to a rock, I'm afraid it may just be a vengeful hairdresser after another binge sniffing the scissor-cleaning fluid.
Oh ho ho, and I aren't I just so sharp I'll slice myself one day? Glad you like it.
