He looks all friendly and cuddly convict-like, you know, about to rape Rupert with a broom handleyou know, with the glasses and all.

But once the glasses come off it's "ROAR I WILL EAT YOU WITH MY TEETH. THEY WEAR SWEATERS, AS I HAVEN'T BRUSHED THEM IN 12 YEARS."

No seriously (I WAS BEING SERIOUS, bitches). I like it, I think. As for the tattoos, well, they weren't in the books, but then, it's not like we ever see his chest in the book. Or read about it. So it's not exactly what JKR described, but it works for me in the movie. As long as his hair becomes more greasy (perhaps it is; this isn't a close-up) and long. And matted. (Hello, Jesus, have we met?).
