The Quill is gone. It's GONE. Completely. The person that housed the server just up and left without any notice and the data's been lost. Zsenya is in shock - and it's just...

She asked the professors and a few others to spread the word - so, I am.

The Sugar Quill, if it ever goes back up again, will not do so for at least a few weeks.

The archive has been backed up - at least, before this Wed. updates, but everything else...

I'm in such shock. I can't believe it. It's simply devastating. All that work, all the joy from the new site - and now it's just gone.

Will write more when I get my jaw back off the ground.

According to B, the situation's improved to the extent that we might have the Quill proper back within a few days.

Really? Oh, that's wonderful. I just felt so bad for Z and James and everyone else who had put so much work into it!.. I can't believe how irresponsible that host was. He could at least have given proper warning.

Oh, but on the bright side, I have a half-read "The Liar" next to me even as I type. :)

it really does! i love it! it has such gems in it - one of my favorite parts is this:
