The creepiest thing you'll ever do is touch your own eyeball.

Ew.

...you don't wear contacts, do you? Because I have to touch my eye twice daily, and I've actually sort of gotten used to it.

Now, other people's eyes? I don't think I could do that. It's okay when it's your eye. But not someone else's.

[identity profile] airinshaw.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
See, I was about to say the same thing. I used to have a think about my eyeball too, but then 4-5 years of having to put in contacts every day gets you used to it. Especially when one rips in half in your eye and half gets lost as happened to me on sat...

What brought this up anyway Liz?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm better now. Ugh. Poor you.

See, I was washing away my eye make-up, and some somehow got on my eyeball, and I had to take it off. I was SO creeped out. It was just wrong. It's eye SKIN makeup, not eyeBALL makeup. Bleargh. Gross.

[identity profile] airinshaw.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hee hee. I knew that would freak you out. *giggles*

It's eye SKIN makeup, not eyeBALL makeup

*laughs helplessly* Hee! Eyeball makeup! How weird would that be?

"Hang on honey, I'm just poking this stick in my eye."

Hee. Though that sounds like me putting on makeup in general though...

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hang on honey, I'm just poking this stick in my eye."

I bet you they think we DO do that! Hee! And yes, it realy does sound like normal make-up putting on... Oy vey! But it's so much fun. I love being a dork and putting on make-up, it makes me feel like I'm making an effort. Heh.

And wench. :-P

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:29 am (UTC)(link)
No, I don't. I have to say, it didn't even enter my mind, the whole contacts thing. But it's just so creepy! *shudders*

Oh, God, I have nightmares about accidentally poking somebody else's eye out. They scare the crap out of me!

I can imagine getting used to it, but still... eurgh.

And by the way, your icon? CRAX MAH SHIT UP.

[identity profile] themorningstarr.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
Liz, you must be really sleepy to come up with something that random.

For some reason... it was also very funny.

And when I wore contacts, I touched my eyeball all the time.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:31 am (UTC)(link)
I WAS quite sleepy. Heh.

God, you poor contacts people... Yeugh.

[identity profile] stereo-m.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
...it's sort of squishy and icky, yes.

*pokes it*

Pretty creepy, yes.

;)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
You are such a dork, I love you! I can just imagine you sitting in front of your computer, poking at your eye just to see what it feels like! Squishy and icky! Ahahahaahaa!

Yes, it is creepy. ;)

(Anonymous) 2003-07-30 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, if you're male, it's just another rite of passage, really.

"I dare you to touch your eyeball! Double dare you!"

"Okay."

"...ew! He touched it! He touched it!"

[identity profile] percy-weatherby.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 08:44 am (UTC)(link)
Eeeew! I never did that when I was a boy! I did do a lot of touching other boy's weewees and swallowing things whole for dares, though.

I wonder if this says anything...

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:33 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder if this says anything...

Oh, nothing at all! I have absolutely no idea what you might be implying.

*snorts*

You're funny, darling.

Ok, that killed me. I wish I'd been born a boy, they're so much crazier than girls.

(By the way, just out of interest - who are you?

Wait... the double-dare sounds familiar...)

[identity profile] skels.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Nah it's not creepy look:

*touches eyeball*

Infact look:

*takes it out and uses it to try to look behind her*

Hmm I appear to think I am Mad-Eye Moody... and that hurt. Ouch.

Ahahahahahahaha! That's quite an image. But sorry, dude, you're too pretty and cute to be Moody. Don't mean to dash your hopes or anything... ;)

[identity profile] yin-taku.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
but that's so NORMAL. esp for us contact lens users. nah. not the creepiest thing.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:35 am (UTC)(link)
LOL, ok, I shall concede. But you gotta admit. It must have been creepy the first time.

[identity profile] soupytwist.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
This is why I don't wear contacts. Heh. Just - ew. Eww. EWWWWWW!!

*ahem*

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly! EWWWWWW!! Hehe...

[identity profile] angua9.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
I agree with Katie!

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...

PS. I bought The One Book yesterday.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 08:55 am (UTC)(link)
I was just going to reply to Liz's entry and tell her she has obviously not worn contacts for 12 years like I have (but that's okay, because my LASIK surgeon is my new best friend), but then I relized I had to:

1. Have a heart attack over your icon, because I love that picture and Ron and Hermione are cuuuuuuute, and

2. Congratulate you on buying The One Book. It is quite possibly one of the best things in the entire world. Good choice. :)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:39 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, fine. All you contacts people. Pah. Heh.

It is quite possibly one of the best things in the entire world.

Not possibly. It IS one of the best things in the entire world. Ahem. ;)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:38 am (UTC)(link)
WOOOHOOO!! YAY! Oh, I can't wait till you read it...wow.

And yes. Major ewww.

By the way, have I mentioned how cool it was to talk to you on the phone? It was so great!!

[identity profile] taelonmahal.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
I do that every morning and evening. *g*

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:39 am (UTC)(link)
LOL.

Oh, I give up!

[identity profile] amaterasu.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
Agreed.

That's one of the worst things about contacts--I see everyone's going, "Well, duh, I touch my eyeball every morning and twice at night," but the truth is (or should be), when you put in/take out your contacts, you touch the lens, not your eye. At least, I do. That's why whenever it pops out or goes for a walk, there's this squicky moment when it suddenly feels different and you realise "Oh, SHIT, I'm touching my EYEBALL! GAH!"

Or maybe that's just me. But still... *shudder*

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-07-30 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, phew, I'm glad you agree - and you, the contact lens wearer! Yay! *giggles* I'm such a dork...
