See, I was about to say the same thing. I used to have a think about my eyeball too, but then 4-5 years of having to put in contacts every day gets you used to it. Especially when one rips in half in your eye and half gets lost as happened to me on sat...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm better now. Ugh. Poor you.
See, I was washing away my eye make-up, and some somehow got on my eyeball, and I had to take it off. I was SO creeped out. It was just wrong. It's eye SKIN makeup, not eyeBALL makeup. Bleargh. Gross.
"Hang on honey, I'm just poking this stick in my eye."
I bet you they think we DO do that! Hee! And yes, it realy does sound like normal make-up putting on... Oy vey! But it's so much fun. I love being a dork and putting on make-up, it makes me feel like I'm making an effort. Heh.
You are such a dork, I love you! I can just imagine you sitting in front of your computer, poking at your eye just to see what it feels like! Squishy and icky! Ahahahaahaa!
I was just going to reply to Liz's entry and tell her she has obviously not worn contacts for 12 years like I have (but that's okay, because my LASIK surgeon is my new best friend), but then I relized I had to:
1. Have a heart attack over your icon, because I love that picture and Ron and Hermione are cuuuuuuute, and
2. Congratulate you on buying The One Book. It is quite possibly one of the best things in the entire world. Good choice. :)
That's one of the worst things about contacts--I see everyone's going, "Well, duh, I touch my eyeball every morning and twice at night," but the truth is (or should be), when you put in/take out your contacts, you touch the lens, not your eye. At least, I do. That's why whenever it pops out or goes for a walk, there's this squicky moment when it suddenly feels different and you realise "Oh, SHIT, I'm touching my EYEBALL! GAH!"

Now, other people's eyes? I don't think I could do that. It's okay when it's your eye. But not someone else's.

What brought this up anyway Liz?

*laughs helplessly* Hee! Eyeball makeup! How weird would that be?
"Hang on honey, I'm just poking this stick in my eye."
Hee. Though that sounds like me putting on makeup in general though...

Oh, God, I have nightmares about accidentally poking somebody else's eye out. They scare the crap out of me!
I can imagine getting used to it, but still... eurgh.
And by the way, your icon? CRAX MAH SHIT UP.

For some reason... it was also very funny.
And when I wore contacts, I touched my eyeball all the time.

Ok, that killed me. I wish I'd been born a boy, they're so much crazier than girls.
(By the way, just out of interest - who are you?
Wait... the double-dare sounds familiar...)

*touches eyeball*
Infact look:
*takes it out and uses it to try to look behind her*
Hmm I appear to think I am Mad-Eye Moody... and that hurt. Ouch.
