miraminx, I just remembered something that I thought you especially might appreciate. Vonnie's "Full Moon" icon reminded me. So, if anybody doesn't know what this icon is of, it's the sign that hangs outside of Brighton's "Full Moon" pub. That was the meet-up place for all the Geekmooters on that memorable day/night. Besides the fact that the pub is absolutely lovely and one of the best I'd ever been in and now has R/S permanently etched into its bathroom walls thanks to ballyharnon, and has seen Moa and I get drunk off of chocolate cake shooters more than once (ohhhh, I miss those...), and has seen at least three or four R/S slashers get sloshed there, it also has young Remus as a bartender. You heard me.

The reason I thought that Minx would be interested is that not only does she have Remus tend bars while not working at Hogwarts, but also, the way he's described in her stories is almost what this boy looked like. (canis_m said that he looked like Remus with a serious case of bed-head, but of course that only made him lovelier, heh.) He had a cleft chin. He had light brown hair. He was of average height, he was thin and dishevelled, and he was lovely.

In fact, I remember a certain someone taking a picture of him holding a littel grey wolf... Whatever happened to that? :-P

So, there you are. We ordered drinks from Remus and he was very bemused by our exuberant enthusiasm. I think the fact that I had at one point screamed 'Sex for Dumbledore?! Ew!' might have scared him a bit, too. It's not my fault I can't differentiate between 'sox' and 'sex'!

In any case...

By the way, ATTENTION GEEKMOOTERS:

Hehe... Here's my request:

Does anybody have any pictures developed? And if so, can you get near a scanner? I'd love to collect them and put them all together, or something, as a momento for everybody. Please let me know! I'll try to get mine developed soon, too.

OT:
My sister turned 27 today. God, that's weird. But I bet the fact that I'm 21 is weird for her, too. Still. Crazy.

Isn't it crazy? Right down to the cleft chin! I was so excited, I had to get more than one drink just so I could watch him shamelessly more. By the way, their house vodka was called 'Seriously...' No, I'm not kidding one bit. I kept meaning to tell you earlier, but the fifth book intervened and then I almost forgot. But yes. Remus works at the Full Moon. It IS perfect.

Pictures as soon as Moa gets her ass in gear, apparently. Meaning, as soon as I badger her to death! Ahahahaha!

Hi! Well, that was very sweet of her. :) A Geekmooter is someone who participated in 'Geekmoot' - a Harry Potter Book 5 get-together in Brighton, UK this past June. :) Twas mighty fun!
