Let's give it another shot...

So, I am trying this again, because I am stubborn. This is the third time. Let's hope it works.

one two three four

The last one was taken at the very end, so if I look tired and like I'm about to keel over, I am. And I have yet to regain any feeling in my middle toe...

And I feel like a slacker. All around me, students are walking to and fro buildings, Big Books and printed-out schedules in hand; freshmen are getting lost, others just look like it... And I sit here, waiting for my boyfriend to get out of his class so we can go home.

My classes don't start until Oct. 8th.

I know. I suck. Sue me. *g*

Aww, thank you. :) Actually, the more I saw the pictures, the more I dislike them...ah, well. It took enough trouble to put them up, might as well leave 'em. But thank you. :)

Oh, pish-posh, I'm sure you'd look lovely! And thank you. :)

Would you believe it, my library seems to have every single thing that Marguerite Yourcenar ever wrote! I got 'The Abyss' and will hopefully read it as soon as I'm done with 'The Liar', which should be quite soon. :)

Aww, it's so nice to know you've been missed...

Ooh, you look VERY pretty like that. That dress looks absolutely wonderful on you. The colour is very nice for your face and eyes, and the fabric flow makes you look very picturesque and Grecian. *snuggles* You looked stunning.

Last wedding I attended, there was a lilac purple white and silver theme. I had to wear a purple cummerband, which I thought was hilarious.

Mostly because I love purple and the word "cummerband" makes me giggle.

*blushes* thank you!.. i feel all special now.

purple lilac white and silver? almost an nyu wedding! ;) (the colors are purple and white, which i always found hysterical, considering its population...i miss it so...) not only is the word "cummerband" amusing to no end, but it also serves no purpoes, save for sucking in guts. tuxedos are the most ridiculous suits you can find, save for the whole tail thing...

::sticks tongue out:: I told you that I knew you looked gorgeous! See?!? Everyone else thinks so as well. So there.

Urrrggghhhh.....I can just imagine how your feet must have been hurting. Those heels look high, and I just can't stand to wear the things. I used to take my shoes off at the Mardi Gras balls the minute the tableau was over and carry them around all night. Everyone was so trashed that I doubt anyone ever cared! (And, it wasn't like I was the only one doing that either!!)

::Sticks tongue out in answer:: oh, fine! *G*

I wuv you. :)

Yes, those heels were very high, because the dress was long - they had to be high enough to accomodate that! (If Sam had been standing next to me then, he'd have been shorter... :P) But, in all fairness, I danced in them for quite a while before they began hurting.

Soooo...when's you comin'?

Wuv you too! ;-)

Well, at least you *could* dance in them! I usually look like the Bride of Frankenstein lumbering around when my heels get too high. I had a red pair that I wore with one of my Mardi Gras gowns that *had* to be high--the dress was so intricately sequined that it could not be altered, so I had to get very high heels.

I'll be coming out to CT on Monday evening and staying until Friday afternoon. Now I just need to find out the best way of getting from Enfield to Bridgeport. Wonder if they have a train or anything? I may have to rent a car. But, the ferry to Port Jefferson seems like a *very* easy way to get over to Long Island
