Ok, this is so weird, but I was reading a drabble somebody had written on Remus's sorting, and that spawned a thought so I had to get it down and somehow it's transformed itself into a full story. I wrote something tonight. And it is finished.

Weird, man.

Non-slashy. Just subtle hints of the friendship to come. Sorting. Sirius POV.

It was only going to be a short little thing! Granted, it isn't epic, but it's a story.

I'm rather happy about that. And now I must get to sleep, because I have the early shift tomorrow. 8:30. Bah.

Where is it? You wrote and I didn't get to read it? *pouts*

Hehe, I knew you'd say that. I would have let you read it, if I'd seen you online - but I had to go to bed relatively early so I didn't go online, and wasn't sure if you'd be there already. I can email it to you, but it hasn't been beta-ed, or anything. For all I know, it's utter crap.

The porn-spam will get done. When, is anybody's guess, but it will, dammit.

*MWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH*

Oh, cool! Let us see!

And I'm up to page 40 of At Swim, spurred by your request for comments (your reminiscence of hanging out with O'Neill is great!). I swear I'll be done with it this week. The style is masterful, I love it already.

(Re-read PoA last few nights. Validated my belief that the crescendo of that night is the greatest moment of the series. Hence the new icon. And the title for it, don't miss the title.)

Ahahahaha...when I look over it and then get it beta'ed, maybe. Heh. I don't trust myself when a story takes a little more than an hour. Seems unnatural, you know?

Woohoo! Page forty - that's... I'm trying to guess where that is, but it's confusing because I'm not sure which edition you have... Well, the beginning, almost, but I'm pretty sure you've met Jim already. Woohoo! I'm so glad you already love it. Oh, man, just you wait. That's all I have to say.

Validated my belief that the crescendo of that night is the greatest moment of the series.

Oh, HELL yes. It IS. The last few chapters of that book are just...oh man. Astonishing. They're the reason that I fell so hard for these books. Before they were addictive and fun and great, but after that it was like a boom in my ears. 'Holy god', said my ears. And I loved the title, it really says it all.

Hi, this story sounds interesting (love Remus stories), would you mind me friending you so I know when you post it?
=)

Not at all :) Actually, it's more about Sirius, but Remus features quite heavily in it. I'm not even sure if it isn't half-Remus, half-Sirius. Just because I love them so. Heh.

I like Sirius and Remus stories too, although are you including the larger amount of students in their year? (about 100, wasn't it?)
they would be on oposite ends of the list !)
