The beauty of cell phones.
I just talked to Jo while doing laundry, and feel accomplished, as well as simply happy to have talked to her, even if only for half an hour. Now I'm waiting for my laundry to dry, and meanwhile, I'm updating.
...aren't you all happy that you're up to speed on the exciting goings on of my life? I roll my eyes in my own general direction.
I am dead. Tired. I got about 4 hours of sleep last night. Yeah, really. Couldn't fall asleep. Though the reason was good. In fact, I was contemplating the insanity of this universe, and how sometimes the insanity works in one's favor.
One of our supervisors from work left today. And on the schedule it said: 'Don't let the door hit Anthony's butt on the way out!' I do really like the people I work with. Well, worked with. Last day tomorrow. I'm leaving a little legacy, though. The new staff recs went up the other day.
I got a raise of 25 cents at my next job (it's the job I had before I left for England, and apparently, I was due for a raise.) Rah. What a raise. At least they didn't decrease it, I suppose. It's back to phonin'.
Oh, but I got the best address book in the world. I've already bragged to Jo and Molly about this. It looks like an old pulp fiction book - and it's 'Lesbian Pulp'. That's right. LESBIAN PULP. And it's my new address book. I can't get over this.
I am valiantly going to try and stay offline tonight. It will be painful. It will be harsh. But I NEED sleep. I almost passed out at work, and the only thing that kept me from doing it was knowing that some of my coworkers were feeling the same way, though for different reasons. I don't think I could survive another 9-hour shift with only 4 hours of sleep to my name.
To finish this off on a random yet not-so-random note: I believe in fate now. Now, I believe.
That is all.

Am so glad the paranoia has been consigned to the dustbin of unnecessary mental baggage. And of the means by which it was consigned. Will probably email tomorrow.
I am very, very happy for you. That is all.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you, though don't rush yourself, if you're busy - I will understand!

The questions:
1. Pick three lines from At Swim Two Boys , one that made you laugh, one that made you cry and one that made you angry.
2. If you could choose a career, any career, what would it be?
3. Let's just say, hypothetically, that JKR stated that the puppies are straight (as if...) would you stop reading and writing about them? Would you try converting her to the OTW? ;-)
4. Have you ever had a supernatural experience?
5. Do you remember your dreams? What's the most memorable dream you ever had?
There you go. I hope you'll enjoy them. :-)
And have a long good night sleep.
Kisses
