erm... she was there for three or four years, and she came back just as the ussr was falling apart, and then she went back for two years awhile later... my memory's shot to hell, so that's all i remember of anything that long ago. sad, huh?

I'm starting to forget it just the tiny little bit and it's scaring me. After all, I spoke it for 11 years with no interference of another language...

Be glad I havne't started with the various food item names- cookie, pumpkin, biscuit ;) I do speak Russian at home, mainly because it's traditional. I get evil looks when I waltz in saying 'Life is good' as opposed to 'zhizn klasnaya.' or something along those lines. I know what you mean though, I'm starting to forget little words here and there... it's weird. Did you speak it at home? Here I mean. I'm guessing your vocab is much bigger than mine... heh.
