LJ mememememememe...

I've posted 665 entries
I've posted 4,532 comments and received 7,093.

my first post: (July 21, 2002) Some crap about the rosetta stone. I was on some serious crack. Especially considering that I posted 6 times that day. I have no recollection of it all being in one day. LJ must be lying. I'm innocent, I tell you! Innocent!

two years ago: (Nov 5, 2001) Didn't have a livejournal, but I was already busy looking up various Harry Potter fanfiction. I have already stumbled upon the Sugar Quill by this point.

18 months ago: (May 5, 2002) That would be the blessed end of my sophomore year. I was busy finishing up finals and getting the hell out of Long Island. Little did I know, it would suck me back in for another four months. Oh, and I was writing more R/S than I am now. And drawing more R/S than I am now.

a year ago: (Nov 5, 2002) Took the amazing "How Will You Be Expelled From the HP Fandom" quiz, met all my future inmates, then reminisced about Wild Fruit Night of the night before, and later that night, went out to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day in Lewes. I'll stop right here, before I start crying again.

6 months ago: (May 5, 2003) *looks back on LJ and squints* Apparently, I was on another "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!11" rampage over the Quill's R/S thread. And, oh! Apparently, I was in St. Albans! With Katie, Gemma, Kitty and Phil. Woooow, that was already half a year ago... dammit all to hell, man.

3 months ago: (Aug 5, 2003) Boozing it up with Carrie and playing "Law & Order" drinking games. Telling people that I missed them. Working at the Coolest Bookshop Evah.

1 month ago: (Oct 5, 2003) Dammit, man! This time a month ago, I was boozing it up with JoJo. Apparently, the first week of the month is when I see cool people. Jo, come baaaaaaaaaack, I miss you...

yesterday: Mistaking "COOKS" for "COCKS", making new icons, and trying not to fall asleep again.

So, made more icons. Can you spot the quotage?

I have nothing more to say at all. I'm just very, very tired.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
OH GOD YOU QUOTED "LOVER YOU SHOULD'VE COME OVER" BY JEFF BUCKLEY. Do you KNOW that's my favorite make-myself-miserable R/S song in the world? I listened to that song a couple of days after reading OotP and I just absolutely lost it--the "I see the rain fall upon the funeral mourners" line, and " So I'll wait for you/ And I'll burn/ Will I ever see your sweet return/ Oh, will I ever learn? . . . " And of course the line you quoted.

I haven't even looked at the others; I just saw that and freaked out. Have I told you recently that I LOVE you???!!?!

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
That song's playing in my head today, all day, and I knew I had to make that icon. That line is so Remus. I love that song, I love Jeff Buckley, and I love that you knew right away where it was from. Isn't it a gorgeous, gorgeous, fucking horrific depressing song? It gives me chills. *sigh*

Now, go and look at the other ones. There's a very naughty one. I had to.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[shrieks] You know what scene in ASTB that reminds me of? [giggles gleefully]

Love the Oscar Wilde quote, too. Hurrah!

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I give up. ;)

And thank you! I had to get my Oscar Wilde back. He's back with a lilac vengence.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I give up. ;)

It would mean a further five bob, but he determined on buggery. He withdrew his hand from the parting--such sweet sorrow. . . . (Love it.)

He's back with a lilac vengence.

Which is clearly the best kind of vengeance to have, PML.

"You're a regular pagan!"
"Not so bad yourself."

I could go on and on and on...

And, well, yes, it is. Add a green carnation and you're all set...

Add a green carnation and you're all set...

[snort] You're such an entertaining distraction to my homework today.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:34 pm (UTC)(link)
You're such an entertaining distraction to my homework today.

Wait . . . that didn't make any sense. . . .

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Heheh. I'm pretty bad myself. I have so much shit to do, and am not doing any of it... All I'm doing is adding more and more icons... Tomorrow will be a better day. Yes.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I have so much shit to do, and am not doing any of it...

Me too. Oh-fucking-well. Icons are MUCH more fun. ;D

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh HELL yes! ;)

And, btw, love that one. Very classy. Heh.

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:50 pm (UTC)(link)
In other news, just looked again at your icons and I must advise you not to knock the US QaF until you've tried it. For more than a couple of episodes. ;D

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I did. Three episodes! It's not that I hate the US version - it's just that I adore beyond all reason the original one. So, you know. Give and take. ;)

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
LOLOL . . . I actually haven't seen the UK version so I can't really talk. I was actually not INSANE about the US version after the first three or so episodes, but it slowly became an absolute raging addiction. Brian Kinney (the US version of Stuart, IIRC) is my personal hero.

To each his own, though I think I'm so entrenched in the US version by now that I will never be able to really move past it.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, see, I HATED Brian Kinney's character - because he seemed like an empty character to me. But I know I can't judge based on three episodes. I feel like our icons are battling, and it's amusing the hell out of me. Who will come out on top?! Figuratively speaking...

*g*

And now, off to work I trot!

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Brian's not empty (though it takes a long time for them to show all the facets of his character, so I can see why you't think that). He fucking rocks--he's absolutely unbelievable . . . I really can't describe. The way I feel about Brian is probably very similar to how you feel about MacEmm . . . if I ever met him, I would be head-over-heels in love and brokenhearted about it because he's gay.

LOVE that icon, btw. I'd make a matching "faggot mobile" one with a US version pic . . . but I really can't be a copycat like that. ;)

To work for me too. Have fun!

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Ok, yeah, see, all I saw of him was...bad. I don't know. He didn't strike me as being the sort of character he was SUPPOSED to have been, know what I mean? But I'm glad he improves upon closer acquaintance. ;) If you feel for him what I do for MacEmm, then you have my deepest sympathies. *sigh*

And yes, the Queer Mobile. As soon as I saw the picture, I knew it was meant to be. God, that was fucking hysterical.

*mwah*

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
If you feel for him what I do for MacEmm, then you have my deepest sympathies. *sigh*

Knowing how you feel about MacEmm . . . I would say yes, I definitely do. Meh. It's fun . . . but it's so not. :/

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-06 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
*siiiiiigh* Yeah.

[identity profile] jadis31.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Tori,
I saw This and it made me think of you...

Liz, I love you and your icons...oh, what a mornin' that is ;)
and you know that line makes me think of Mr. Mack... so disturbing here.

Love and Eggs Gone Off,
Jo

[identity profile] immovablemover.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yum. Thank you for that, Jo. :D

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-06 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ok, dude, that line should NOT be associated with Mr Mack! Ew, man. Ew. But glad you like anyhow. ;)

Love and Gluggary
*mwah!*

[random comment]

I never saw the original, unfortunately. My friends told me that it's really good and that the UK version of Michael is not as whiny and annoying. God, I need to see that. :)

[/random comment]

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, it is soooo good, and Vince is the BEST, he is SO WONDERFUL, you just want to hug him and never let him go. *sigh*

[identity profile] edeainfj.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Love the Rufus quote on "hallelujah." *sigh*

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, I was "quoting" Jeff Buckley - well, his version, since that song's been covered countless times, and was actually written by Leonard Cohen... But the Jeff Buckley version is my favorite - it is arguably one of my favorite songs, ever. Just the little breah at the very beginning is enough to drive me crazy. *sigh* And that line is so them...so, so them...

[identity profile] taintedrocky.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hallelujah"...gotta love that song.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 01:44 pm (UTC)(link)
*sigh* Oh yes.
(deleted comment)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You quoted Jeff Buckley -yessssssss!!!

And he's still playing in my head. Life is good. :)

I love you, too, which shouldn't surprise you at all - and you're so very welcome. I'm glad you liked it!

*forty hugs and kisses*

[identity profile] soupytwist.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Hallelujah... gahgahgahgah.

*hugs a lot*

(And dude, real QAF and VINCE OMG VINCE and WILDE and evil incarnate (so, so cute and smax-down-the-bigots-y, yay) and holy jesus the morning one. HEE! Dude, I love you. And good luck getting sleep.)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I was thinking of you when I made the Vince icon, and couldn't wait till you saw it! YAY!! And the QAF and Wilde and everything else... *sigh* I'm so glad you liked them. I'm proud now. :-D And YES, you got the evil incarnate one to a tee! This is one of the NUMEROUS reasons I love you.

Love you and miss you and hug you
*mwaaaaaaaaaaaah!*

[identity profile] cabari.livejournal.com 2003-11-05 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey Liz's icon?

Don't look now. No, really. Don't look.

But you're cock's hanging out.

*giggles* Oh, my God, I think this may have been the best purchase I've ever made. I love them all! You're wonderful!

but Rufus sings it better than Jeff.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-06 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
*smirks* We like that icon. ;) I'm so glad you approve! :D (Did you get my message, btw?)

I've never heard Rufus. I have a feeling I should.

[identity profile] stickpegasus.livejournal.com 2003-11-06 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Liz, who on earth drew the fanart for your "and every breath we drew was hallelujah" icon? It's *gorgeous*.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-07 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
It was Marta. :) She is a genius. And we love her.

[identity profile] stickpegasus.livejournal.com 2003-11-07 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed she is. I take it it's one of the lovely sketches that is no longer on her website.
...Could I persuade you to email me those, if you have them? I will love you forever. And write you smut! If you're so inclined, my email is stickpegasus@hotmail.com. Thanks!
-Cory

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-07 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, I don't feel comfortable sending out pictures that she's hidden... Maybe you could email her yourself? I'm sorry...it's just not something I think I have the right to do. But you can email her ask her about her smutty pics. If you say you're a perv, she just might listen. ;)

[identity profile] stickpegasus.livejournal.com 2003-11-07 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, that's fine. I've emailed her about the site itself-- it's the things that aren't up in the slash section any longer that I covet. ;) I totally understand, though. The Awesome One herself is the one to go to for the smut... hehe.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-11-07 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, good :) Have fun! ;)
