AUUUGH!

The judgment day has come. Six hours of crackheads. Incidentally, if you happen to get a, uh, call (hey, you never know!) please have mercy and don't hang up or curse anybody out. It would make our day.

Decision: next semester will bring new job, because this is ridiculous, and every time I go to work, I feel like I won't come back but be swallowed up by the neverending crax-hole.

Er.

Never fear. I am armed with two books. For happy fluffiness, I have "Boys on the Rock". For a new book, I've got Mary Renault's "Mask of Apollo".

Right. Here I go.

*takes the plunge*

Wait, I'm back. [livejournal.com profile] snoopypez - you rock SO HARD. It's GORGEOUS. I'll write more tomorrow, when I have more time. But, dude...yay!

Jaime rocks - is that the thing I think she rocks for, or is it something else? Because she showed me a certain something that almost made me pee my pants with squeeage over it's gorgeousness.

Mwahmwahmwah!

OH! THANK YOU for that text! :D :D :D Made my weekend. Hee. Love you!

Yes, it was that very thing. I almost peed, too. So beautiful.

*MWAAAAAAH!*

And yay! :-D

My previous job was pretty similar. It involved lots of phone calls! Trust me I've been there. You can do it :-) It just takes a lot of patience!!!

kisses

A LOT of patience. Sadly, I didn't have much patience yesterday. It kind of sucked, actually. Mostly because I was so restless. But it's over! Only 4 hours tonight. After yesterday, almost feels like a breeze. Only...not really.

I was nice to a telephone seller person the other day, all because of you! :D I'm usually really mean and evil... I was proud of myself! :D Hehhehe.

Go Dee! See? Spread the love! People that are nice to people like us are good people. We like them. :-D

Incidentally, love your icon. It's amazing.

Are you kidding me? It's gorgeous! I love it! I'll email you more about it tomorrow, hopefully, or perhaps even later today, but yay! This will be amazing. *sigh*

And Moa had to tell me where you hid the tulips. Evil. ;)

Thank you! I survived, and even admirably! Heh. Oh God, it sucked, though.

This comment has absolutely nothing at all to do with your post, but I wanted to tell you anyway, as I saw this and immediately thought of you.

I was at a discount book store today. They sell overstock from the major bookstores. On the table was a stack of about 6 hardback At Swim, Two Boys. Even though I already own the paperback, I bought a hardback (and you are right, it is different). I wanted to take a picture for you... this big stack of At Swims. :D

It's the British hardbacks! They had the same ones at The Coop! Oh, I loved that stack. *sigh* It's a thing of beauty, isn't it? It's a gorgeous edition, very befitting of the sweep of the novel. Or so I think in my unbiased opinion...

I'm so glad you got it. :)
