But they also have to bear in mind that it carries certain responsibilities, no matter how much they may wish to avoid that. If you're going to write about an altogether serious topic - and whether or not we wish to see it or not, incest is just that - then you have to realize that it won't be all smooth-sailing. And Arabella had a right to say what she said without being called a fascist or a homophobe, because that was just not only stupid, but ill-informed. I mean...geez, she's got fic up at the Howl Kingdom. It's a slash site.

I can understand your point, and I hate censorship myself, but I also think that there needs to be some sort of self-censorship, not in terms of what what's good "for the children" but what's good in terms of literature, maybe. I'm not sure how to explain it... basically, people have to learn to take responsibility for their actions, and simply transferring it on somebody else and calling them a fascist is petty and ignorant.
