I happened to catch "Blow Dry" on TV the other night, and it made me happy. It was fun, and funny, and trippy, and Alan Rickman has the most amazing eyes, so I just thought I'd share how much I enjoyed it. And lesbians! Pretty lesbians! Yay, pretty lesbians! Also made me happy.

By the by, a little while back

rochefort posted this article on the Bush clan and their 'values' and allegiances, and I finally got around to reading it a few days ago. It gave me chills, and made me want to run for the hills at a mad, mad speed. It's quite an eye-opener, if you hadn't known most of it before. Even if you had, I'd still suggest reading it. Just...mind-boggling and frightening.

So, if Bush comments on this entry, I will be obliged to tell him why I don't love him. One bit. In fact, it's so the opposite of 'love,' it's waaaay past 'indifference.'

Well, I love that you 'get' the R/S relationship. I think we pretty much have the same view on it, and I when it comes to the fandom, that's...um...not so easy? So, I'm glad to see more of the same kick-ass Remus and Sirius. ;) Also, you amuse me, and your recs journal is quite impressive. I find a lot of my favorites on it, which shows we have very similar tastes. Another check! And I like that you can be objective, even when it comes to things close to your heart. And you're fun. Hee! I LOVED 'Blow Dry', in spite of Josh Hartnett's godawful accent, bless him *pets the boy*.

It was the first thing I'd ever seen Bill Nighy in that didn't make me want to retch at the sight of him. And I have to say, I've seen other stuff since then which is making me change my opinion just a little. Maybe he's just shite at TV sitcoms (wooden, much?)

Anyway...yes. That was it. *nods*

The funny thing is, I was kind of impressed with his accent... but then again, I'm a bit rusty, having left the British Isles, and all... But he was so cute in it, I really can't hold it against him. Heh. Alan Rickman totally made up for it, anyway.

And since you're here! I think you're really fun and I bet you're even more fun in RL. You're optimistic (or so it seems) and know how to let go (again, or so it seems! ;)). Your Johnny Depp icons make me drool and that's a very, very good thing. You've got good taste in men, I must say. ;) And you're a fellow R/S-er! You're also sweet and nice, and all that good stuff. :)

I'm actually not sure whether you love me or not, seeing as I only friended you because you'd met Jamie O'Neill. But I'm game to find out.

Mr. Rickman's tattoo is one of the hottest things ever. When he lifts up that foot, and... and... OH MY GOD. It was perfect. I may have to actually rent this movie sometime, and see it from the very beginning (I missed the first ten minutes or so). What a fun movie. Made me happy...

And why do I love Dee? Because she's insane, she knows a joy that I have known (how is that for cryptic?), she loves ASTB, she's funny, and talented, and fun and completely insane. Have I mentioned 'insane'? She's cool, and pretty (shut up, I've seen pictures), and open-minded and, and, and...totally wonderful. :D
