So, I'm writing a long fic. And it's going well. Yesterday, I sat down to work on it more, and saw that the file, instead of now being 24 pages is...57 pages long. And it won't let me scroll down to see what's happened. Finally, it did, and right in the middle of a paragraph, there are about a thousand pages consisting of boxes and different signs. I erase them. There's more. I erase those, too. Then, it turns out, I've lost a small section. Ok, no big deal, I've got a beta-copy from
rochefort. Except after I read through the beta, I had changed some things, and now I can't remember what I said. Ok. Jo's got it. Fine. I go to save the file. File cannot be saved due a file permission error.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Thank God I'd sent it to Jo a while back, to entertain her at work. I think I might have had a mild heart attack if I hadn't.
Fucking technology.
On a brighter note, here's a meme:
Recommend me...
1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album
4. a LiveJournal user not on my friend's list
5. what I should have for dinner
6. a website
7. a fic you like particularly well

4.an LJ user... well, let's see... I hear that
5.for dinner you should have ham and sauteed apples and squash. because that is what my brother is making and it would really kick ass if you came to dinner.

Re: fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!
Ok, moment of hate over. I love you again. :)
I've wanted to see BfC for aaaaaaaaages. Ok, will do. Same with 'Good Omens.' I love Flogging Molly. (Ha...ha...) You're a sick bastard, but I knew this was coming, so you're forgiven. It WOULD kick ass, and then I'd get to make your brother cringe by telling him of the picture you sent me and Ni earlier. Nice website. ;) And awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! it does make me happy, indeed! :D
Love you, too, bitch. ;) Very, very much.

1.) Double Indemnity, directed by Billy Wilder.
2.) The Black Unicorn, by Audre Lorde.
3.) LUCINDA WILLIAMS. !!!!!!!!! (which is not a reference to the band !!!, although I hear they're pretty good, too.)
4.)
5.) You should have sushi and two cocktails for dinner.
6.) LILEKS.COM (http://www.lileks.com)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (The "Postcards from the Open Road" and the "Have a Seat!" sections are my favorites, although everything on the Institute of Official Cheer both makes me giggle and fills me with longing.)
7.) Transistor (http://silverlake.imjustsayin.net/kateb-transistor.html), by Kate Bolin. This story features verrry mild disruption of yr OTP, and came out before a lot of the information about Sirius's family was known. But I don't care, and you shouldn't either, because this is a sweet, beautiful, wonderful story, and it's perfect.

hehehehhehhehhe... I think I just woke the whole office up with my laughing. they didn't need me to be this amused at 4:40 on a Friday afternoon.
and two votes for Good Omens means you have to read it NOW. hahaha. I gave Ni my last copy, but your library should have it. if not, they suck.
Love and SmallHouses,

2. I, Elizabeth by Rosalind Miles. If you love history (or even if you don't), and have a soft spot for English history in particular, you need to read it.
3. My Skin by Natalie Merchant
4.
5. Cheese pizza. Cheese pizza is always good.
6. Television Without Pity. If you don't know them yet, well, here you go. They're hysterical. And the best source for a good recap of any episode of any show you ever missed.
7. There are so many fics I love, but since I know that you are all about the puppy love, this the one I can think of right now. It's bittersweet and heartbreaking and oh. Something by
