On Being Tipsy. *gigglegiggle*
So, I've met a few new people. We went out to a pub and I had only one drink, but damn, I' all tipsy now! It's fun! It's very disorienting, because I'n dizzy, and the drink was Smirnoff Ice, which tastes great, actually, and has a higher alcohol content than I'm used to. And I drank it much faster that I normally do. So, I'm dizzy. And slightly giggly. And happy. Wheeee! I've met people! I'm not as lonely anymore!

And is it really strange to be thinking in British English your first few days in the UK? Because that's what's been happening. It's sort of...all around me, whooooo, British English, and my American thinking just whoooosh out the window. Hehehe... I'll come back with a full blown British accent and people think me a pretentious bitch.

Over 4 months I've been out of the UK... I still think in British English. This would be ok if I were actually something other than American. My accent (when I can't stop it) fools a lot of people. American people. My (English) boyfriend tells me I sound Irish and ridiculous and would I just knock it off already?
