I feel pretty...oh so pretty...
I went to The Bookstore, and talked to a supervisor. He was all "yeah! we need people!" but the summer jobs technically don't start until the end of June. What they could do is start me off now, and then make me into a seasonal employee. Of course, he added, it might not be totally legal, so they'd have to look into that... Anyway, he said he'd give me a call. He also said it was good seeing me again, which was nice. Awww. So, yes! I WILL have this job! It's a matter of when. If I'm stuck in unemployment this June, I might just fuck all and go to visit my grandparents in Minneapolis then, and not in August.
Before I went there, however, I turned on Spike TV at 3:00pm. Yeah, so I was watching "Highlander." And guess what!
rochefort and
miraminx - it was the one where Methos first comes, I believe. Mmmmm. He's pretty. Now I'll be watching it next week to see if he's still around. He's got a nice neck. The reason I mention only his neck is that, sadly, that's all we got to see (besides the face.) But he looks good in jeans. Because when you don't really care what the show is about, and are just waiting for the promise slashy bits, that's what you look at.
I was walking around, and noticed that they'd added a "magnetic poetry" stand with some words pasted onto it. Somebody had put up "they dream of something-ing" (don't remember what the something was), and I finangled a few things here and there, and finally formed "they dream of impeaching" because "peach" was right there, and it was asking for it. I hope somebody gets a laugh out of that.
Peter O'Toole has pretty eyes.
