On The Day From Hell. And More Homophobic Ranting. And a Poem.
Someone shoot me now.
I just wrote a long, beautiful rant on Day From Hell, Homophobia and posted a beautiful poem.
It got lost.
After the day I've had, it's not surprising, but here is my reaction, anyway.

Here is the poem. It's beautiful. The highlighted part is what you will find on the page before Part I of "At Swim, Two Boys". It sums up the novel beautifully.
COME, I will make the continent indissoluble;
I will make the most splendid race the sun ever yet shone upon;
I will make divine magnetic lands,
With the love of comrades,
With the life-long love of comrades.
I will plant companionship thick as trees along all the rivers of America, and along the shores of the great lakes, and all over the prairies;
I will make inseparable cities, with their arms about each other’s necks;
By the love of comrades,
By the manly love of comrades.
For you these, from me, O Democracy, to serve you, ma femme!
For you! for you, I am trilling these songs,
In the love of comrades,
In the high-towering love of comrades.

Can I just say how much I love you? You are wonderful people.
And I miss talk to you terribly and want to talk to you. When is your computer going to be fixed?!
Jamie O'Neill is God. Just thought I'd let you know.

I do hope tommorow is better for you, though, and indeed, the rest of your life. You deserve it.
And congrats on the book!

Re: These, those and some others
Heheheh... I think so, too. Maybe I should write him an email. ;) *cackles*
Oh, it's such a shame that you can't get the book! I will think of something for you. I will promote the godliness that is "At Swim, Two Boys" no matter what. Give me a month. ;)
Thank you so much for the compliments - I'm glad you liked them! Yay! Hagrid is the best to draw. Him and Dumbledore. I can see them *so* clearly in my head... I can see Remus and Sirius, too, but they're much harder to capture on paper...damn hands...
*many hugs*
