Bored, bored, bored, my friends. I am bored. But I'm drinking orange juice! I'm not sure when this started - I think around the last time I was sick and had to work - but I've been having orange juice pretty regularly with breakfast. Which is a good thing, all in all, and I feel like it sort of makes up for drinking coffee every single day of the week. (The morning of the 2nd, when Anna, Sophie and I went out to get breakfast at Dunkin Donuts, the two of us stood waiting in line, saw a big bucket/thing with orange juice bottles, took the exact same amount of time to assess the situation, and both reached for a can at the same time. We are such fucking freaks.) So, I'm drinking orange juice.

And because I'm so bored bored bored, here's a meme that requires both your and my participation. Have I mentioned that I'm bored?

See, Jayne/River is so very wrong but I have read fic that I liked. Ok, A fic that I liked. But I like the wrong and dirty, kinda. Snape/Harry is wrong and dirty but I have been known to indulge.

Jayne is such a terrible person. He's just... unforgivable. But he makes me laugh, and also practically ALL the fic I have read is Jayne/SOMEBODY and so Jayne is the character I never thought I'd like and kinda do.

Also, I think Kaylee is the character I don't like as much as everybody else! I am such a Grinch. Honestly. But Kaylee/Inara 4ever.

Snape/Harry is wrong and dirty but I have been known to indulge.

*cough* Yeah, me and my bad habits... (Still can't see Jayne/River, but then I actually have barely read two fics in the entire fandom, so...)

The only reason I can think of for Jayne to still be there is that he and Mal are actually having all that hott sex people write about. Because otherwise plotwise his continuing presence after Ariel just weakens Mal's character and gives him no excuse. Dude.

Just look... look at the way he eyes Mal when Mal puts his arm around Simon at the corral at the beginning of Safe. NOT THAT I HAVE OBSESSIVELY WATCHED THIS SERIES OVER AND OVER AGAIN OR ANYTHING. Well, they should have MADE more, is all :P

cf Also the grabbing of Simon by the neck when Simon runs after Mal in Serenity, or the scene in Serenity where he gets sent away from the table, or the... hey. You were just bored and now you're squicked too! I am such an awesome friend!
