SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I got a JOB, people, a JOB! After two months of searching and tearing out my hair and clawing out my eyeballs, I finally got a job! Granted, it's only for the next month a and a half, but hey, it's something! And it's such an awesome place - a new coffee shop is opening up, and the two owners are very cool - they're both in their late 20's, early 30's, a lot of fun, interesting, laidback and yet full of energy (and coffee!). They said they hired people not based on experience, but on a general attitude, and how they would fit in with the place. They wanted people with lots of energy who also gave off a certain fun vibe - I guess going there three or four times to find out how the process is going has paid off. ;) I thought I was just being annoying...heh.

Oh my God, I am so so so excited!... And the people that I'm going to be working with are all very cool, too - I mean, two of them actually knew who Tom Waits was! Now, that's not something I expect out of Long Islanders... (no offense to anyone)

Ohhh, this is so cool! Now, if only it would cool the fuck down outside... Fans don't help much and I'm about to melt. I think I'll go off and draw more stuff from Linenverse for Bally. She got me all excited...

ooooh, working in coffee shops is awesome! if it paid better, i would pursue barista-ing as a career.

Yeah, it is - I can't wait. I think this is the first time I've been really excited to start a job. ;)

And, now I am intrigued. Do go on.... :)

(I hope to have more pictures done soon - and hopefully, I'll be able to get to the campus to scan them...yesterday was just really lucky that way.)
