On Holidays...
Merry Christmas, everyone!
As a Jew, I would like to wish everybody a very happy celebration! It's Ok - I'm a bad Jew, I even eat pork. And Hannukkah went by me with not much notice this year.
So.
Happy Birth of Christ.
I apologise on the behalf of the rest of us for killing him. He seemed like a cool enough guy.
In any case...
Seriously, though. I do wish everybody a wonderful day. I hope you enjoy the time with your family, if that makes you happy, or that you enjoy the time with friends, if you get to see them.
Much love to you all, and a Big Huge Thank You to those of you who have been so wonderful and supportive, including one special lurker who is still without a LiveJournal, she knows who she is... I will email back soon.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
love,
Liz

Merry Christmas!
I was going to say something on an earlier post, but since everyone else already said what I was going to say, I was at something of a loss. In any case, know that we adore you for being you and will always support you, no matter what.
Ho-ho-ho-aaAROOOOOOO! (Santa has a magical wolf this year, didn't you know?)
Re: Merry Christmas!
And, yes, I did know, in fact! ;)

Nah, I think she's just waiting for more free time. ;) But thank you for offering! At some point, just might take you up on that...
Part of the "legend" christians needed to build in order to blame the Jews and part ways with them.
Oh, well, naturally. ;) *sigh* Oh, well.
Jesus did exist, right? His name was Joshua? I need to brush up on my ancient history... He sounds like a hippie, though, doesn't he? Too bad that he has had all this crap happen in his name...somethine tells me he wouldn't have approved...

In other news, I thought of you all day today, mostly when Anastasia came on TV. Whilst I was watching Anastasia, I suddenly realized that all of the characters have Russian accents....excepting the leading male and female. Which I thought was absolutely hypocritical. If you're going to have a Russian accent, have a bloody Russian accent. It's like having a low-fat chocolate pie. Just not bloody worth it.
Stupid animation studios.
Anyway, yes, bless this season for both ecclesiastical and non-ecclesiastical joys. For Christmas Day is the only day in which I can dance around in the living room wearing unmatching new clothes and Joe Boxer slippers with the tags still attached with my (decidedly Moslem) significant other to the song in the Green Dragon scene in the uncut edition of LoTR and not seem like a looney.
If materialism is a sin, I'm going straight to hell. Smite me down for liking -things-.

And buggery is never a sin in my book, and neither is gluttony, at least not when it's in incraments and divided into holidays...hehe...

Love you, and hope you had as good a holiday as possible. :)
*turns flag around to show that it reads 'We love you FOR being you, not despite it, and don't you forget it, ARRROOOOO' on the back*

AROOOOOOOOOOO!
I thought it was me...
Does the fact that I know the lyrics to most Christmas Carols put me in the lead?
;)

Join us in the next round of "Which Bad Jew Are You?"
Our final question - Have you ever had a religion start in your name that took you away from your first belief system?
