PAUL HAGGIS YAY!

Well, I'm torn. "Brokeback Mountain" was amazing and I was hoping it would win. But...Paul Haggis...makes me happy... so yay? In part, YAY PAUL HAGGIS!

But...damn.

Bastards didn't let Bobby Moresco talk, though. That sucked. :(

I was torn between Crash and Capote, but I love Crash so very, very much and I am so proud that a Canadian producer won best picture.

It's just nice to finally have a Canadian nominated in a category other than Best Foreign Film. :D

But Brokeback did get Best Score, Best Adapted Screenplay (yay, McMurty!), and Best Director isn't a small one either. So definitely not robbed. I don't think anyone was really expected Crash to take it, so that's kinda neat.
