For anyone who's interested, all the anonymous comments have been answered in the previous entry.
Don't have anything else to add. Had work. Work sucked. Had dentist appointment. Self-explanatory. Thought about my life sucking a lot. Hasn't changed. Want to eat, can't, tongue and one half of mouth are numb.
Going to go attempt to email old profs to ask for recommendations. Yeeeeach, don't want to, but really really have to. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it. *dives in*

FYI on letters of recommendation: if you have a professor who really likes you and your work, and you can a.) see yourself asking for another letter of recommendation down the line for something else, b.) this professor is very distinguished and senior (by that, I mean on the other side of 75 or 80), or c.) both a & b, you may want to ask if you can arrange for a permanent LoR to be put on file. This can save them the problem of writing multiple LoR and save you the problem of asking for one.
You should know that under conditions of adequate intoxication, I will spill most secrets, so no need for an anonymous posting. Although certain secrets are unextractable, even if you locked me in a room with vodka, Ms. Paquin, and a tub of jello.....

I'm going to get all my forms together and send them to both (and hopefully, eventually, three) professors. They said yes! Yay! I know some school have special forms for them, so once they write the one letter, they can just fill out the forms...I'm guessing. We'll see. There's definitely time. :D

*sends sympathetic not-able-to-eat vibes* *pets* Hate that feeling. Don't bite your tongue (which I manage to do even when not under the influence of mouth-numbing anaesthetics o_O).

I really hate being numb after the dentist. I keep thinking I'm drooling, and also my mouth just looks weird...I look like I've had a stroke. It just feels wrong. *purrs under the petting*

I always stood in front of the mirror looking at myself to see if I looked strange, but usually it was just the annoying feeling of numbness.
(Wow, if the petting gets that much of a reaction, I should do it more often! ;-))
