Finally managed to get Very Highly Buzzed tonight. It sounds awful, perhaps, that I've been looking forward to it, but really - sometimes, it's a neccessity. (Is that spelled right?) In any case, I needed it, after the dreary day I've had.

I finally managed to get into town to look for work, and it wasn't very promising. (AND windy, AND rainy...) In fact, it was downright depressing. Wherever I went, it was "sorry, no, we're fully staffed at the moment, but if you come back in about a month..." Right. Like you'll have places then. *sigh* Managed to get a few applications. One of them even made me smile - it had a questionnaire in the back with questions like "what makes you smile?", and "what's your favorite food?" So, that was nice. But at least I don't feel as guilty anymore. I AM trying. It's not my fault none of them have vacancies.

In any case, I gave myself a night off and had fun. And finally managed to scan in picture, which you can see

She has a sword because she's cool. It's probably completely wrong - the sword, that is - but I thought it added...something. Anyway, it's more or less stylized - not quite a cartoon, not quite 'real'...

Anywho, I really don't have much to say. I'm trying to CG Eowyn, but it's difficult, at least with the way that I want to do it. Besides, I've never done it before. Might take me a week, I think. (Well, less if I have TIME...)

In any case, I shall go now. I need my sleep - and I'm extra sleepy due to the alcohol. Heh. Wine really is lovely.

I just remembered that I was going to do a survey, but forgot. Ah, well. Tomorrow I'll waste time again. So, ha.

I love the pictures. Almost exactly how I imagined, although the sword is *humungous*. And I do like the sort-of stylised thing you've got going on.

And even if the job search was depressing, you ARE trying and you don't need to feel guilty about anything. Having an evening to relax is good.

No, don't go back into hiding! I've missed you! That story was absolutely hysterical - and it's absolutely true, Pippin and Merry had been reduced to no more than comica relief, which is sad, seeing as how they're so wonderful in the book.

Awww, thank you! It's funny, because I was mainly drawing Eowyn, and then I just started doodling on the same page (that corner that's whited-out in Eowyn's picture?..) and out came Legolas, in all his Elfin glory...heh.
