If you get the chance, I think you'd totally like Spinal Tap. It is beautiful, beautiful crack. Heh. (And more-or-less canonical slash with a happy ending! It is Fraser and Ray levels of gay... and wow, how did I not notice before that that rhymes?)
I have also decided that clearly, the pirate's favourite philosopher would be SocrARRtes, hee.
