On Movie Lines -

You know those days when you feel like you're the first one to discover the sun? Those are the days that make it all worth it.

~*~

And since everybody's doing it, I guess I'll jump aboard.

1) "And like that - he's gone."

2) "Half-man, half-dog! I'm my own best friend."

3) "Feigeles?"
"No, just merry!"

4) "We'll be sitting on a beach, earning twenty percent."

5) "I killed the president of Uruguay with a fork, how have you been?"

6) "Who're you callin' scruffy-looking?!"

7) "So, you were an artist. Elvis was an artist!"

8) "And over here we have - the street where she broke up with me!.."

9) "Was it a rat?"
"Yeah, a great big one."

10) "Hello, lady!"

Admittedly, I couldn't remember most of my favorite lines, alas. But I remembered most of my favorite movies, so I suppose it's all right.

Am tired and sleepy, but feeling good anyway. Must do work. Will be back eventually to test you on those first fanfic lines...mwahahahahaha...

Have a nice day, everyone.

And YOU - you just read. Heh.

Scruffy-looking?

That's Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back, right?

*Hopes she's right*

Yours in fanfiction,

2 - Would be 'Spaceballs', no? I've never seen it, but my brother's told me all the funny lines.

5 - Is this 'Grosse Point Blank'? I haven't watched that one in a while.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
DUDE. You HAVE to see that movie! And, yes you were right about both. :)

My way's not very sportsmanlike...

[identity profile] dianora.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
Number 1 would be The Usual Suspects, would it not? What a great movie. :)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
Correct. :) And how sexy was Kevin Spacey in that movie?! The ending? *dies*

[identity profile] dianora.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Unbelievably sexy. That movie made me worship Kevin Spacey. *swoon*

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-02 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
YES!!! I came out of that movie absolutely in love with the man, thus spawning a year's worth of obsession, which culminated in seeing him on stage in "The Iceman Cometh". Life is grand. ;)

*swoons too*

#8 is "Say Anything." I won't comment on #5.

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:02 am (UTC)(link)

2. SPACEBALLS! What a great movie :)
6. Is it the Empire Strikes Back? Been a while since I've seen those...
10. The Princess Bride. THE movie of my childhood. Oh, who am I kidding. It's still THE movie ;)

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, yes, and yes. :) Spaceballs is fantastic, what can I say? Ah, Mel Brooks. No one guessed the other one of this, though. ;)

I didn't see The Princess Bride till I was about 15, but I adore it to bits.

Ack- and also, PJ Harvey is wonderful, wonderful. I named one of my fics after "Is This Desire?"

[identity profile] mrsronweasley.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, but you were the only one who guess it. ;)

And *shriek* I think snoopypez is gonna read At Swim!

*SHRIEK* Dude, world domination!! I can tell this book will sweep LJ-land soon - my goal is to have everyone on my friends list read it. Hurrah! Help? ;)

Ok, you shall see the picture - I have an unfinished version scanned, but I've changed a few things, like Jim... Still, I'll email it to you, if you so wish. Or you can wait till it's done, which is mostly background stuff... Let me know. :)

I named one of my fics after "Is This Desire?"

Aha! I knew it! I saw that title and thought - hmmmm...P.J. Harvey, anyone? Heh. Oh, she IS wonderful...

[identity profile] mombi-of-oz.livejournal.com 2003-02-01 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! We must take over the world with the words of Jamie O'Neill! I've been trying to get people to read it, but I don't think I'm pressuring them enough, or something.

Oh yes, and totally e-mail me the picture! But I want to see the finished version too. Hee. Yeah, you can send it to uhm... mombi_of_oz@livejournal.com Woo Hoo!

Hmmmmm... I already wrote an entry on it way back in August, but I am not above doing it again. *cue evil laughter*

Picture sent. :)

Ooooh! I'll write another entry about it! Although, maybe you should write one, and I'll link to it. Heh, I'm not very good at explaining why things are so good.

Your picture is absolutely beautiful!
