SGA, 3x15, first five minutes.

OMFG, are they KIDDING ME? Are they TRYING to write fanfic?

"Their" game? THEIR GAME? The game they've been playing for YEARS, at NIGHT, between MISSIONS?

Are they FUCKING KIDDING ME?!

*DIES*

Oh God. Oh my God. I...will be back. Um. With. Uhm.

He has no chemistry with women at ALL. The closest they get is Teyla, and only when they're sparring MAYBE. Actually, it's more like...it's really really hot to watch. But. It doesn't go anywhere. He has more chemistry with Ronon - those two kind of burn up the screen, really, at times - but the women? None. It's kind of astounding. And, seriously, he's fucking repressed. He's just...God. GAY.

Also, the Big Gay Leather Daddy Who Rules His Country? Yes, John. You're straight. Yep. TOTALLY STRAIGHT.

My ass.

Oooh, what are people saying? Now I'm curious! A few really hated ToR, too.

I really want them to be building up to some storyline about John Sheppard's Big Secret being that he's gay, gay, gay - they're not, obviously, but wouldn't it be happy if they were? Then again, I guess that's what we have fandom for.

YAY FANDOM!

on the downside, people are saying:

- that the game isn't plausible, with the realtime aspect - John and Rodney (mostly Rodney) would have given up and wandered off before anything fun could happen. To which I say, hi, remember the Wraith? because they were just a bit busy, there - I can totally see them doing stuff, and then wandering off, and then coming back and doing more stuff, and then having lots of sex. Er.

- that the solution they came up with (you have seen the horrors of war and you will fight no more!) was not all that plausible/workable. And, I mean, yeah, but I didn't read it as "now everything is fixed, yays!" - I mean, to me it was much more "now that you've seen how this can potentially end, lets the bunch of us sit down and make it NOT END LIKE THAT PLEASE."

(I envision negotiations, and then more negotiations, and then Nola and Sheppard's guy making out in hallways and having hatesex and traumatizing everyone. Also, I totally think that Elizabeth gives them books (or, well, info) about various wars and genocides and how they start and how they can be ended and how ESCALATION DOESN'T HELP, JOHN, RODNEY, and Nola and SG read these things and decide that, in order to reunite their peoples in peace and harmony, there needs to be a ritual joining, either of the two of them or of the Oracles.

Then again, as it's been pointed out, my mind is kind of a scary place.)

- Teyla didn't have enough to do. Which, yeah. They haven't been using her to her full potential, the last few eps. Sometimes, I don't mind it, because it means that John and Rodney get to be cute together, but it does get a little annoying. In response, I am hoping that they do something SUPERCOOL with her in the rest of the season. *crosses fingers*

Ahahaha, I love it. Sheppard doesn't get backstory because, HELLO, Don't Ask, Don't Tell! (Except I'm so totally asking.)

And okay, I can see how those are legitimate complaints, but...eh. It's SGA. I wish they'd work deeper and make it a bit darker and more interesting (like it had been earlier, actually - what happened to that?) but this is fun and silly and I can live with that. I do want more, and I definitely want more Teyla, but I'm totally enjoying it now, and unless they bring out more drivel like "Irresponsible", I'm okay. *g*
