OMFG.
I'm fucking TIRED. And do you know why?
See, a while back, while I was still sick, Sam was out doing his Christmas shopping. I got a call asking if I had SGA season 1 on DVD. I said, "No, I don't!" So, that's what he got me. Since then, I've made him swear up and down that he'd watch "The Rising" with me. He huffed and puffed and kept on saying that he just wasn't interested, but said FINE, he'd watch "The Rising" with me on the 52 inch widescreen TV.
We went to sleep at 5:30, after having gone through the first two discs - up through "Underground." I'm not even fucking kidding. His dad stayed up with us until "Childhoods' End". I'm wiped out, but am I smug? AM I SMUG? OH YOU BET I AM. And he would have kept on going, if I hadn't put my foot down and said "IT IS FIVE THIRTY IN THE MORNING!"
*WINS*
And I never realized just how frightening and disturbing the Wraith are to those who know nothing about them. If you watch "The Rising", they'll freak you out. At least, they did Sam. Heh.
And oooooooooooooh, guys, I have never seen Atlantis (and, frankly, Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett and EVERYONE) look more beautiful. This is high-def DVD on a 52' screen TV. It's STUNNING. And season one I've only seen in 214mb pixelated .avi files. This is AMAZING.
*runs off to watch 'Home' now*
