The Most Shallow Post You'll Ever See: Redux

So, a while back, I posted what I dubbed The Most Shallow Post You'll Ever See, wherein I, uhm, highlighted and then expounded upon Callum Keith Rennie's best physical features. And I believe there were a few people who gently admonished me for not including several features on his face. I could not let it go, and made up my mind then and there not to let that slide.

Resolved, I made a new and exciting diagram. And then c_regalis went away, and I kept on putting it off and off, because how can I do a Callum post without C around? Well, I can't, that's how!

But, luckily for us all, she has come back and has been tapping her foot rather impatiently through all the Joe Flanigan picspam I've managed to amass over these past few months.

This is Callum:



HIS HEART-SHAPED FACE.

Yes. He has one. And how cute is it? Look at how cute it is! His face is lean and thin, but has that lovely shape to it, highlighted by his widow's peak. Makes it heart-shaped! Kind of meltingly adorable, that.

EYES/EYEBROWS.

Callum's eyes. Well, it takes a stronger person than I not to find his eyes absolutely beautiful. I mean, there are beautiful eyes, and then there are beautiful eyes. I mean, if you needed more proof, just look here. Or, better yet, here. The hair is awful, and the shirt is...well. But the eyes? They eyes are beautiful. And, in technicolor, right here. *sigh*

Also, his eyebrows. Because, see, he also does this...thing. This thing, where he'll look up from beneath his eyebrows, and pin somebody with a stare (a la above picture or here, or here) and boom, that's all she freaking wrote. I'm a dead puddle on the floor. I mean, how is it possible to withstand this?

EYE CRINKLES.

Adorable. Sexy. Hot. They tell a story, especially in the way one eye has slightly more defined crinkles than the other, and while it's kind of a sad story, it's still that something that has made the man. So, eye crinkles made the list.

MOUTH.

Nnngh. What can I say. I believe it was shiroi_chi who called it a "hobo mouth" and I can totally see what she means. And I love it. It smiles so prettily, and at the same time, it's kind of made for holding a cigarette. It's a thoughtful mouth, but it can laugh easily. It also half-smiles and smirks, too. In conclusion? Hobo mouth.

STUBBLE.

The most common reaction his stubble gets is *licks*. The one thing I always think about is Tanya Huff's Mountie from the "Smoke and..." series - the one with the blond hair and golden stubble. Obviously, she's even admitted to using Callum as a source of insipiration, and can we blame her? No. Not in the least. *licks*

THE LITTLE WRINKLE ON HIS NOSE.

I think this is actually my favorite Callum feature. Just because - OMG! Little wrinkle when he smiles! On his nose, which is ten kinds of adorable. It's just a cute quirk, you know? I mean, how adorable is that? *sigh*

DIMPLES/LINES ON FACE.

The man has dimples. If you know me at all, you know what that does to me. I mean, the day jadis31 and I realized that Jim (Mack) had dimples, we scared the entire DART train. DIMPLES, for crying out loud! Adorable and quirky and simply lovely. And, even when he isn't smiling, I love seeing the lines on his face, because, again - they tell a story. And it's interesting and it's winding and it's just...Callum. And you can't not love that.

And, just, look at his whole entire face. He's a stunning, beautiful person. From any other angle, by any other name, would look as sweet.

Not to take away from the awesomeness of everything already mentioned, but I want to send love to his hair. Especially the ~two-inch-Ray look - not to speak ill of the other styles, but the medium spiky just seems to frame his face so well that the rest can be appreciated optimally.
