On a Few Things:
1) Oh YES. Oh holy GOD, yes. YES. She's BACK.
2) Along the same lines, tonight was/is a full moon, and I HOWLED and it was AWESOME. I might go out again just to howl again. It's very freeing. (You THINK I'm joking...but this is coming from someone who actually howled at Grand Central station, so don't put it past me.)
3) I howled on the way back from seeing FoTR on the big screen for the first time. It was my 7th time actually watching the movie, but my definite first at seeing it like that. Cara (my cool hallmate) and I went together - and I scared her with my "crazed Bilbo" imitation. (I did the exact same growl and hand thing just when he did. She jumped. I was quite proud. I am such a brat sometimes, but I'm cute, right? Heh. Don't answer that.)
4) Sam's housemate is chatting to some girl online and isn't letting Sam check his email. Sam, therefore, still doesn't know that I got The Email, and I am very very pissed off. Because he can't call me, either. Because the PHONE LINE IS TIED UP. And his housemate KNOWS that it's important to me that Sam check his email now, and it's just rude that he won't get off his arse for just five minutes and abandon that precious girl. For five fucking minutes. Ugh.
5) Listening to Tori makes it all better, somehow.
6) The Email has been printed out and given a place of honor on my wall right underneath W.H. Auden's "Lullaby".
7) I like my quote-covered wall, but it's missing some very crucial quotes that I had marked in "At Swim". Now, if only I could get it back...
8) People keep talking about Aragorn/Legolas, or Aragorn/Boromir, but after reading the books I realize that the likeliest slash pairing involving Aragorn would actually be Eomer. Just thought I'd share that.
9)
percy_weatherby was right in his assessment. Merry and Pippin are so shagging.
10) I can't remember.
11) I'm very proud that I remembered to actually email Jamie O'Neill back, as opposed to basking in the email forever and ever and forgetting that I have to actually let him know that it's all right to post my picture on his website. Aren't you proud?! Heh.
12) GAH. HE EMAILED ME.
13) Stopping, I promise.
14) Love to all.
15) I had to have a number that divided into three, because that's my favorite number. Useless piece of Liz trivia - whenever I look at any sign, road sign, store sign, whatever, I automatically count the number of letters on it to see if they divide into three. I've been doing it for more years than I can count just now. Yes, I am odd. And that sentence SO divided into three.

(Anonymous) 2003-02-16 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)Yay! Canis is back! Here's hoping it won't take another year for chapter 5 to be posted. I don't think I could take it.
Read your email from Mr. O'Neill. How great is that! I'm loving the book so far. Thanks for the recommendation. I love that phrase, "Pal o' me heart."

Oh, I'm so glad! And it's the sweetest thing, that phrase. I love those boys... My boys, dammit. Heh. Well, ok, I'll share...maybe. *does a Bilbo-can't-let-go-of-the-ring look*

I saw "don't answer" but - yes, you are cute. :)
And I know that I don't say much here but I would like to tell you how glad I am to see it, if you are happy or amused like at the moment. :)

And I will just say that there is nothing more freeing than howling at the full moon. ;)
Enough said.

I absolutely agree with that and Merry and Pippin, well, that couldn't be obvious, dear! *g*
I'll have to check Mr. O'Neill's site, I so want to see your pic there -I'm so excited about this. *hugs*
