On getting my fix.
Oh, thank God. I didn't think I could spend another day without LJ, it's that bad. Gah. I apologize to those who had to put up with my incessant whining yesterday.
stereo_m - the network has sorted itself out, and all my files are back, thank GOD. Yesterday was just a bad day technologically speaking. I think it was a good idea to just...step away and not return for eleven hours. Feeling better.
Gah.
So, I was supposed to catch the free bus to a grocery store this early morn, but didn't. Why? Because I went to bed after three. And why is that? Because I was busy reading "Atlas Shrugged". And whatever possessed me to do that? Because I am even smarter than the main character and had figured things out before she did, and then I had to stay and find out when she would figure them out. I connected the dots way the hell before she did, way earlier than the tramp's speech. Do I have any issues with the book? Yes, several, but overall, it intrigues the hell out of me and I love the characters.
(This little exchange brought to you by Love of Anthony MacMurrough. Ha, those of you that know what I'm talking, remember that part?)
By the way, Ayn Rand and I have the same taste in men. Let me tell you, the men in her books are HOT. I'd even venture to quote
croupier here and say that they're HOTT. Like, holy shit, I want them. All of them. Another case of "WHY does it have to be fictional?!"
Anyway. Now that I am relaxed and no longer shaking from withdrawl, I shall announce that YES, in a month (less even!) the The NY GALs will be in London! HURRAH! Oh my god, this will be sheer insanity. I cannot WAIT. (Girls, I'll email, or someone else start it - we really DO need to plan this thing!)
Also,
stereo_m. First of all, I just misspelled your user name and said "stereo-ME", which, basically, speaks for itself, if you ask me. I think this may be in the Top Five Typoes of all time now. Anyway, guess what? It's Friday. Are we still good, or will we need more time? Let me know. At some point tonight, we should probably get on AIM to talk it out, and whatnot.
Oh, and
percy_weatherby - look out for something in a week. One clue - it won't be online. *mwah*
And that's it.
Everything's back to normal. Heh.
ADDENDUM:
And by the way? "Atlas Shrugged" is CHOCK-FULL of homoeroticism. It's not even funny. And it's just...a wee bit too much fun for me to read. I was bouncing earlier today, so that - the lovely homoerotic overtones - combined with the absolutely gorgeous beyond belief weather, the fact that I have no classes today and am about to go out and draw outside makes for a very happy Liz. Ah, if only it were like this most of the time!..
I am off to celebrate life, because, after all, what else do we have but that?
Gah.

Stereo-ME... lolol. Yes, that was a really good typo. :D And, er. I just emailed you. I think it'll get done, but.. I still have quite a lot of coding to do. Er. By tomorrow evening it should be done, I hope. Only I won't be at home from around 6 PM to perhaps 10 PM your time, but maybe you can CHEX anyway, and email me?
Email me if you get online! I keep checking it constantly, because I'm obsessed. Then I'll get on AIM. I won't now, 'cause then I'll never get anything done. Heh.
And I've only had time to read like, 20 pages in 'At Swim'. Argh. On Sunday. Heh.
