You know how sometimes you get these urges to say something, but you usually suppress them, for whatever reason, and they don't get said? Well, I want to say something right now, just because, and, goddamn, I will say it.

I love Katie. So, so much.

Ok, I feel I must make myself clear here. 'Room' and 'Fifteen' had nothing to do with one another. 'Fifteen' stands alone, and will continue biting me on the ass repeatedly until he grows up to sixteen. And seventeen. And, god help us, doesn't die at that age, as well.

The 'room' was meant to show that WHOOHOO, a CLUE! Dumbledore mentions it, and JKR has said that it was 'well spotted' by fans, and basically it's important.

But yes, fifteen. I am a bad bad person. My only excuse is that that's when R/S can start. I don't know how that makes sense in my head, but it does, and I will just shut up and go away now...

I think it's safe to say we both do. Filthy, horribly indecent minds. But mine really helps when I need entertainment. I'm sure yours comes in handy, as well.

Yeah, I was just being a crazed psycho fan. Ok, here goes. In GoF, Dumbledore mentions a room that he had stumbled into once, at Hogwarts, that held something that I don't remember at the moment. JKR has mentioned that there is a mysterious room in Hogwarts that she'd love to go into it. I think someone might have made the connection, and she said: well-spotted. My guess is that's what's on the cover. I mean, Mary GrandPre has ALWAYS had clues on the cover, little hints, and this I am simply certain is no exception. Harry also looks very determined and almost happy that he's there. Must be a cool place. Then again, I may just be pulling this out of my ass completely. But I'm pretty sure I'm not.

Oh, this is really weird — you remember that April Fool's fic I mentioned to you? In one draft of it, that room (as I interpret it) appeared. Maybe I'm channelling JKR...

Hmmm. The cover is interesting. As with the release date, I'm not immediately blown away, but I suppose that will come. Maybe it's a function of seeing it onscreen instead of on paper (with an actual BOOK being hugged by it) but the cover doesn't look quite finished to me...almost like it's a fan-drawn guess. Maybe that's a function of there being no clues in it as well (at least, none that I can see...enlighten us as to the one your wise eyes have found?) ;-) But I expect the excitement will grow...after all, it's the words inside that will matter, and this is just one more indication that in three months, we will have those.

I think it will, too. When you actually get to hold the thing in your HANDS and OPEN it...you will squeal. I know you will. And you know what's funny? I was looking at the British covers, and the only thought that was going through my head was: Remus is behind that cover. I will open up that book and he will be there, however briefly. That was the point where my head was about to explode from excitement. REMUS. SIRIUS. CANOOOOOOOOON.

Ok, I'm better now.

Oh, and about the clue - look up, I answered in Roche's comment. :)
