The first paragraph is cute and obviously Rodney, but I found it amusing to reread it as Snape. Flustered Virgin!Snape can be even funnier than flustered Virgin!Rodney sometimes. Now I have to think of all the other fandoms that have brilliant scientists. I've heard that the original big slash fandom was with Spock and Kirk, so I guess flustered Virgin!Spock would work. :o)
