I am nine minutes into SPN's "Playthings", and entirely confused by this one thing. Uhm.

Dean: "Of course, the most troubling question is, why do these people assume we're gay?"
Sam: "Well, you are kind of butch. Probably think you're overcompensating."
Dean: *gives a fuck-you smile* "Right."

Which is all par the course, BUT THEN, he has this LOOK, this "please don't actually out me, I am not overcompensating or giving off any vibes, right?" kind of look, and WHAT. I mean, I'd assume that the way to deal with that kind of exchange is to beat Sam upside the head, not look GUILTY.

Oh, SHOW. ♥ ♥ ♥

Also, I just got to the part where Dean tells the proprietor lady that Sam loves to dress up his dolls in different outfits back home.

That is the best "they are totally doing it, seriously" episode ever. I mean, I'm not really into the Wincest but that episode, even the BOYS were slashing themselves.

Um yeah I kind of love this show. It's the perfect mix of plot and action, the characters are awesome (I mean, sometime the girl characters are... not, but for the most part. Plus there have been some awesome women. Like Ruby, I sort of love Ruby. And Ellen of course ruled. And, of course, the Impala).

Oh, Sammy and Dean. Never change!

It is about... a fat white vampire! In NO! And there's a transsexual! It is seriously the cheesiest, most ridiculous book ever, which makes it perfect for travel reading.

Yes, yes it is! Seriously, is there any other interpretation in that scene? Or the one where Sam wants to make out with him, but Dean is all, "No, I am tortured and you are drunk, go to bed!"? I don't think so!

And, you're totally right. It's just so entertaining and fun and funny and the characters are totally awesome. (So far, I like Jo a lot, but I guess she gets worse? Which is a shame. But yes. Ellen is AWESOME.)
