okay. I am spamming, like a spambot, BUT.
I just re-watched the Half-Blood Prince trailer (and made Tracey watch it with me. AGAIN.) and just - JUST.
GUYS. HOW AWESOME DOES IT LOOK.
It looks AWESOME.
The best part of my HP revival (*jazz hands*) is that Tracey just read HBP for the FIRST TIME, and is now onto The Deathly Hallows - FOR THE FIRST TIME. I get to be all excited and, you know, JAZZ HANDS, and she'll be all, "I KNOW, right?" (except, sometimes, she - does not share my joy. Or my pain. Mostly, because I AM a pain.) and just.
JUST.
I finished re-reading book 7 last night (I should have stopped when I was tired, but I chose not to. This is a valid lifestyle choice.) and then I couldn't sleep for another half an hour at least, digesting it all over again. I'm almost curious to go back and see my reaction entry from when it first came out and see how it's changed. I - feel like I've mellowed out in some of my more, uh, militant stances? Honestly, I even enjoyed the epilogue this time around, which, you know - not so much the first time?
But this time around, it brought me a whole lot more joy - the whole BOOK did - and I'm having a lot of fun even just thinking about it all.
HEARTS. HEARTS AND FLOWERS. About Harry Potter. In 2009.
MIDNIGHT VIEWING OF HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. I AM SO THERE. I AM SO TAKING THE DAY OFF. \o/
Talk to me about Harry Potter? I MISS THIS.

I get nostalgic for HP sometimes but I don't reread the series...I reread Canis M. Those stories are, like, the One True Fanfic.
Mwah!

And well - yes. I've learned to differentiate when I think should have happened with what actually happened, and it works out for the best all around. *g*
MWAH back!

Back in my days of HP fangirling, I didn't have regular computer access so my Canis M. is all printed out on actual paper. Not even nicely printed either - the printer cut off a half an inch of text down one side so a bunch of words had to be added in my messy handwriting.
I wonder if anybody thought to save the web pages?

I'm not the biggest fan of the epilogue, but I have to rec this fic about it if you haven't already read it.

Yeah, I'm not either, but, like, I don't know. There was something about it the second time around. And YAY FIC! THANK YOU!

What did Tracey think of 1/2Blood Prince??!

And she really, really enjoyed it! Which thrills me endlessly. :D
